I am in love and know not her name

I held her in my arms and it was love at first sight.

I flew up to see her yesterday and I’ve just got back.

For she is my niece, just 6 days old, and her parents have yet to decide upon a name. They didn’t give me her birth weight, but she was two weeks early and rather smaller than her brother, so I’d estimate about 6 lbs.

Nice one! Congrats.

It’s my turn (again) in a couple weeks…

don’t be pulling that kinda bull if you ain’t got pictures posted on a share somewhere…where’s the link?

Congratulations!!!

Like, right here?

Awwwwww!

I want one!

peeks

snorbles baby, glomps and cuddles

I spent a lot of time just sitting there with her in my arms feeling that however horrible the weather outside (and it was), all was right with the world.

What a darling. She looks older than she is, she’s very bright-eyed.

That’s exactly what I was going to say. What a doll.

I remember holding my nephew a lot when he was little. It was often more comforting to me than it was to him, I thought.

Oh she’s just precious! You’re gonna spoil her rotten, right? Buy her all the toys Mom and Dad won’t, give her all the junk food they say no to, that sort of thing?

Of course. What else are uncles for? Especially those uncles who have no progeny of their own.

Be sure to get lots of noisy toys. The parents love that.

Oooh, yes. Spoiling is important. Buying loud trucks is fun. [sub]But eventually, parents figure out how to take the batteries out.[/sub]

Especially a drum kit

And they’ve decided on Georgina.

Isn’t it amazing how quickly you can form such a powerful attachment?

Wow, she is beautiful and obviously has a quick mind. Georgina: very pretty and not common/trendy.

Oh! I love her jammies! Congrats!
