I am thinking someone with a parting shot that was heard 'round the board. Something a poster did to say “fuck you, SDMB!!” with passion and alacrity.

I remember reading about that one. That was pretty epic. I was wondering if there was someone (maybe even a longtime poster) that had been like unfairly warned a couple times in their mind and just decided to chuck it all and curse out their enemies, real or imagined, in order to facilitate their own suicide by mod.

Lissener kinda went crazy near the end a few years back. He wasn’t banned but his personal life drama and posting drama was pushing 11 before he sorta left. He was a generally good guy when the drama wasn’t in motion though. I hope his life has taken a turn or two for the better since then.
Ditto. But hey, it was 2003. Trolling wasn’t exactly NEW then, but folk have had a decade since to learn how to actually do it and not just sound like an idiot.

I don’t see any useful purpose being served by this, given that we don’t generally permit people to take inventory on posters who get banned.
