I agree. I really wanted to see where they were going with that. Apparently there was supposed to be 4 more seasons and HBO killed it.
I’d also like to see more Firefly.

That would be the Ungrateful Undead, surely?
Second that!! Phooey on completely portable free and nonpolluting energy sources… Give me Flashman!
Pauly Shore wins Oscar for Best Actor.
Time travel.
I’d like my family to stop worrying about who is marrying outside of their class and social level and stop knowing what’s “best” for each other and just get along and love each other unconditionally like family is supposed to.
No?
Gimme that fucking Bugati Veyron, please. Free. And someone else to pay for the insurance.
Give birth.
An actual release of Smile. No, not the one that Brian Wilson produced in 2004, forty years after his prime. An actual 1968 recording.
A Star Trek movie that takes place after Nemesis without rebooting the series. The TNG crew should hand it over to the next crew.
Mastery of time and space.
Otherwise, veto power for any idea oozing from the skull of Michael Bay or his writers.
Or, conversely, replacing the director with a Harry/Ginny shipper. It’s canon, dammit!
Sorry about my last post. I don’t mean to rekindle the Harry Potter shipping wars, it’s just that I agree with canon in this case because I like it when the quiet girl gets the guy she has loved for years. It’s the same reason I ship Naruto/Hinata rather than Naruto/Sakura, which seems to be more popular.
Actually, #1 on my list is a Ranma 1/2 series finale that shows the final chapter of the manga, except that it would show Ranma and Akane actually getting together, not just walking to school together in a slightly more friendly way. Unfortunately, Rumiko Takahashi seems incapable of ending her manga in a definitive way. (I haven’t seen the end of Inuyasha, so I don’t know whether she’s gotten over that or not.)
In terms of art? Michael Bay is dragged before the world court for crimes against humanity.
Poor Pterry.
The next Song of Ice and Fire book. Then the remaining couple to follow on quickly after that.
This, and the concluding volumes to Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, as Snickers wrote. Then Martin should write a kickass sequel to Tuf Voyaging (as he’s said he’d like to).
I’d also like to see sequels to True Lies and The Incredibles.
Movies of Heinlein’s The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Space Cadet, Have Spacesuit Will Travel, Glory Road and Time for the Stars would be awfully nice. And Starship Troopers, but with powered armor, dammit.
One last good Alien movie with Sigourney Weaver that satisfactorily wrapped up the franchise.
All of this contingent on them being well-done and true to the spirit of the originals, of course.
A 100 part miniseries of Neal Stephenson’s The Baroque Cycle, with a followup 20 part mini-miniseries of Cryptonomicon.
Any of the following actors playing Hamlet:
Vin Diesel, Jack Black, Tom Cruise, Steven Segal, Jeane Claude Van Damme.
Scientology Today - the talk show.
Roseanne Barr’s soft-core porn series on Cinemax.
Ooooh, baby.
I’d settle for any new SW stuff that approached the level of quality of Empire Strikes Back. Or, at least, didn’t suck as badly as the Prequel Trilogy did.
A reunion of The Smiths.
Morrissey has said farily recently that he’d eat meat before he ever shared a stage with Johnny Marr again. And he’s a pretty strict vegetarian.
