Jaguars pick OT Eugene Monroe.
Now I don’t care who the Packers pick, the 49ers can pick either Crabtree or Raji and I would be ecstatic.

Tee hee, tee hee. Thanks Jags!
As a Raiders fan, I say, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
And to think I was starting to have faith in Al Davis again. Ugh.
Is Ratliff clearly developmental or does he have a shot at competing to start? He could be backup if the trade Anderson or a project third QB (replacing the mighty Ken Dorsey).
Some OSU/Browns fans were demanding Beanie at #5 (there are always calls for every pick to be an OSU player) - I wouldn’t hate him at #17. Rey scares me, but the idea of an enforcing thumper up the middle appeals to me.
DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!
Well, it was too good to be true!
Hopefully the Packers will get a trade offer for moving up for Crabtree or Raji or Oher. Unfortunately, the Packers are solid, if not spectacular, at WR, so Crabtree isn’t a need. But TT is a BPA selector who drafted Aaron Rodgers to sit behind Favre, so anything is possible.
I’m all agog!
Lions can take Crabtree at 20 . They need a wide receiver.
I like Mauauauauaualaga at 17.
Don’t forget, Ray Lewis was a late first round pick himself.
Looks like PAckers got Raji! Good for them.
Packers pick NT B.J. Raji.
This is the second time in recent years that the Packers have taken my favorite pick with the pick right before the 49ers. Before it was LB A.J. Hawk.
Here’s a peek at Mel’s last Mock Draft’s top 10.
He was damned accurate.
How could the 49ers possibly pass on Crabtree?
Matt Forte, Jay Cutler, I’d like you to meet BJ Raji!!!
Wooooooooooooooo!!!
Not sure what to make of Ratliff, but being that Mangini coached him you have to imagine that he likes him to ask for him in the trade. If he was comfortable with a competition between Quinn and Anderson getting Ratliff would make little sense. Though I suppose having him as the 3rd guy and promoting him later might make sense, but that precludes them from drafting a late round guy in hopes of getting lucky.
Wells was always a disappointment in college. He’ll be a bust that high and it’s never wise to take a RB early. If I’m the Browns I’m hoping Maclin falls or maybe Peria Jerry/Orakpo/Maybin at 17.
Damn. The Pack did the right thing, that sucks. Raji is gonna be good.
Crabtree to San Fran seems like an automatic. Jerry would make sense too, Singletary knows how important a strong D-Line is for LBs.
Great pick, I agree. Like I said, if you include Aaron Rodgers, I could easily root for the Packers based on who I wanted the 49ers to draft lately.
I see Michael Crabtree smiling. I’m smiling…
I suspect that latter is exactly the idea. Ratliff is more of a 2010, 2011 prospect.
49ers pick WR Michael Crabtree.
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Makes sense, but at the end of this year Anderson/Quinn will have less value in trade. If one guy steps up (or flops terribly) this year he’s not getting anything for the guy they want to dump. If they are sour on Quinn now’s the time to move him or else you won’t get a thing for him. That said, I think Quinn would win the job if given the chance.
Now it is up to the Bills to begin the run on overrated college DE projecting as OLBs in the NFL cough Gholston cough.
If the Bills take Maybin I’ll be surprised. Oher would be a better fit and a bigger need.
Yup, Maybin…they will regret that one.
Denver is on the clock. Any chance they replace Cutler with Freeman? Or do they do the smart thing and go defense all day long. Orakpo here and Jerry later would be a good start.
