2010 NFC North Discussion Thread

I think that’s a large part of it as well. I haven’t seen a definitive timetable for Rice returning, and don’t have a lot of confidence that he’ll immediately return to his 2009 level of play. As far as hedging your bets go, this is a pretty solid move. We’re all salivating about seeing Moss and Rice on the field together, but it could still be 4+ weeks away.

You laugh, but this somewhat desperate move is directly related to the Vikings attempt to get a stadium don ein Minnesota. If the Vikes aren’t involved in all that nonsense I am not even sure they try to get Favre back, but they need to win and they need to create excitement.

I would like to see Moss and T.O on the same team. It would be like matter and anti matter hitting the team.

If/when that happens, I will re-evaluate my allegiance, as I pretty much hate LA. My current home-town team (Atlanta) seems to be doing things the right way finally, and has some players worth cheering.

The Vikings are not likely to go to LA, though. There are several other teams ahead of them on the list, starting with the Jaguars.

I was just thinking, James Harrison seems to be underutilized in Cleveland for some reason. Maybe the Packers could make a move for him.

Considering the rest of the Browns’ offense, I’d be hesitant to move one of their only two productive players.

I think Marshawn Lynch was the Pack’s last best option. At least, I hope so. They still might be able to get somebody like Brian Westbrook or Marion Barber, though. Hey, I think Najeh Davenpoop is currently available. Maybe they could bring him back. Heh.

Well, if we’re going there, Ahman Green is currently a free agent (well, he’s playing in the UFL, which is the same thing).

The Dump Truck!

To be honest, I’m glad they didn’t get Lynch. He’s a bad guy.

Why, because he smoked some pot and carried a gun?

The Brett Favre harrassment story picked up steam yesterday when deadspin.com posted a story with decidedly NSFW pictures of, allegedly, Brett Favre’s genetalia he reportedly sent to Jenn Stenger a Jets sideline reporter (or something like that). The link is below, but it is definitely NSFW. It also has voicemails of who sounds like Brett Favre (IMO) sent to Stenger. It was on the front page of the New York and even got a mention in Peter King’s daily column. Here is the link. BTW, my guess, not one word spoken on ESPN about this on Monday night.

Link (NSFW!!!)

Sterger, not Stenger.

Why should ESPN report on Brett Favre’s private life? How is any of this anybody’s business but his? There’s no crime being alleged here.

I think it might reasonably described as the rather comely Jenn Stenger’s business.

Unsolicted pictures of one’s penis is indeed a crime I would think.

Well the Pack offense went to hell when Finley went out and then the Defense faltered hen Matthews went out.

Such is football.

Props to the Lions for having a great game, and for being on the right side of a blowout for once.

Joshua Cribbs would like to drop kick you in the face for that comment.
