2010 NFL Draft Thread: April 22nd - 24th

Like the Seahawks don’t need O-line help?

Hasselbeck sure thinks they do.

Apparently Romeo Crennel (DC of the chiefs) lobbied for the Berry pick.
APPARENTLY YOU FOUND A WAY TO SCREW US AGAIN ROMEO, THANKS.

IUPUI has a football team? I live in Indianapolis. I went to IUPUI (for grad school). This is news to me.

6 (6) Seahawks - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

He was looking very… pensive before he picked up that phone.

No we DO, some were just not sold on Okung as the answer.

So, naturally, he’ll be the picture perfect fit and the fans will swear he’s a demi-god by tomorrow.

Tebows on the phone!! Browns take tebow!!! (plz)

I would kill all of you.

That would be awesome!

Not.

7 (7) Browns - Joe Haden, CB, Florida

Dammit, I wanted that guy at #13. More guys crying.

Hadens crying because its the Browns. Those arent tears of joy.

Oakland is on the clock. I’m already starting to chuckle.

I’d help you. I, too, understand the pain of constant shitty drafts.

Now they might actually take Tebow…

I’m not pre-entering options on this one…

Ditto. Second best time only to right after the Jets pick.

8 (8) Raiders - Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

I really like McClain, it’s a surprising pick, in that it’s not horrible.

I don’t hate Joe Haden, but I’m not a big fan of drafting CBs really high and I want to see more out of them than Haden seems to be as a prospect.

I was starting to talk myself into not hating Clausen if he was the pick - obviously some sort of QB is needed and I was convincing myself that Holmgren would be able to pick the right one, and trust him on that. I think I probably would’ve rather have taken Earl Thomas straight up than Haden. Oh well.

Edit: McClain is a pretty sane pick. Weird. I thought Pierre-Paul was the perfect Raider pick.

The Raiders reach…no surprise there.
