Here is where I will win or lose it. I have Louisville, Ohio State, Miami and Florida in the Final Four.
I’m only in 24th place, but my Gators have been kicking buttocks (save for the first few minutes of the second half against Minnesota). I’ll be the only one laughing when Florida wins the title, as no one else picked them. We are taking OVER!

I’m tied for the lead in “total points remaining.” What’s there to check?
The “points remaining” numbers look like they are all based on 3-4-5-6 without any upset bonus.
Then again, is upset bonus based on picking an upset, picking a team to win that ended up beating a favorite even if you picked it to beat an underdog, or both?
For example, you picked Florida (a 3) to upset Georgetown (a 2) in the round of 16, but Florida is playing Florida-Gulf Coast (a 15); if Florida wins, does that count as “picking an upset”? How about if you picked Arizona (a 6) to beat New Mexico (a 2) in the 16, but they beat Ohio State (a 3) instead?
If it’s based on who the team actually beats, even if you didn’t pick it as an upset, then it becomes that much harder to determine “maximum points” as you have to go through pretty much all of the 32,768 remaining ways for the tournament to end.

As far as I know, upset points are awarded only for upsets that you actually picked. So you would not be awarded upset points in either of your examples. Fla would have to beat Georgetown and AZ would have to beat NM for you to get the points.
My Midwest bracket is perfect so far as well, but how long will it last?
ETA: My guess is that my Midwest bracket is pretty safe except for Duke vs. Michigan State of the two remaining games, but I think the Spartans are pretty hot right now. Although, if the Ducks beat Louisville … well … that would be real innerestin’.

Kansas blows a 14-pt lead and loses in overtime. There goes my #1. Pretty hard to beat a team when they got someone draining threes from six feet behind the 3-pt line. Damn you Trey Burke!
