And returns the Kickoff about 60 and scores a TD on third play with a great catch…

My favorite part of the TCU - Ole Miss game is (of course) that Ole Miss is the only team to have beat Alabama in the regular season. I know Alabama tightened up their game a lot since that loss… but maybe not enough to beat the Ducks in the National Championship.
Yes, I’m jumping ahead. (A kinda obnoxious Oregon Ducks fan.)
I can understand the logic – Ole Miss looks terrible; they beat Bama; ergo: Bama will be lucky to get a first down against Oregon, and ought to be relegated to the Sun Belt Conference.
It never seems to work out that way, but I feel ya.
I am really looking forward to FSU win tomorrow evening!
Don’t be churlish.
I read that Mariota was so exhausted from the awards circuit that he went home to Hawaii for a week to veg out. Meanwhile, Winston has no distractions, and something to prove.
or similarly:
Arizona looks terrible against Boise
They beat the Ducks
Ducks will be lucky to get a first down against FSU…let alone 'Bama
Ducks ought to be relegated to Big Sky Conference.

Your logic is unassailable. ![]()
I’m wondering how ESPN makes any money on some of these minor bowls. Seriously, did anybody other than alumni watch the bowls featuring teams with a dozen losses between them? I would think they would get more advertising dollars, and spend less money, showing a big game from last year or something.
LOL, how well I know… I’ve been a Ducks fan for a long time… we’re big dreamers, but we got heart!! ![]()
And yeah, I’m watching the Arizona/Boise St. game and I did arrive at the same uncomfortable logic.
We shall see. Do you think it will help that I made all green and yellow food for my guests while we watch tomorrow’s games? ![]()
I admire your green-and-yellow food-making. I don’t anticipate the Ducks doing well against FSU, but I’d be happy to be surprised.
To this 'Nole the game hinges on one big thing and one…less big thing:
Big Thing: The FSU D-Line has got to pressure MM. Our secondary is vulnerable (to put it charitably) and if Mariota has time, we’re in serious trouble.
Less Big Thing: Winston has to limit his mistakes (and the receivers have to run their damn routes properly).
If those two things happen I think we win.
Thanks, susan. It wasn’t that hard… they wanted a Mexican theme, so it’s Chile Verde burritos and I did add a little saffron to the Mexican rice. I didn’t go so far as to color my refried beans… the guacamole was an easy call, as was the Salsa Verde.
Whatever happens, I’m proud of 'em.
Same.
Not sure if it’s the case statewide, but in the Valley you can get packages of green and yellow tortilla chips.
LOL, I had no idea (but not surprised)!! Hey, if they go all the way, I’ll go find some. Thanks!
Check Albertsons.
Enjoyed watching the Ole Miss beatdown today after saying most of the season that they were way overrated. Glad to see that Miss St seems to be heading in the same direction. Probably won’t be back on till after tomorrow’s games…predicting a blowout win for the Ducks. Quack quack!!
Boise State must have a hell of a recruiting staff. I’ve been to Boise, and it makes Pullman look like Paris.
I do think of Pullman as Parisienne compared to Moscow, Idaho.
In October. When it came around to the game that mattered, the Ducks pulled out the Wildcats’ claws, slowly and thoroughly. They broke Arizona over their collective knee, that is why the Broncos were able to step over them.
Bad last two days for the SEC West.
LSU loses to Notre Dame
Ole Miss gets manhandled by TCU
Miss St gets thumped by Ga Tech (Yippee!!!)
Watch out Bama…You better beat tOSU.
ACC is no longer the redheaded stepchild of the Power 5 Conference.
I am liking FSU more and more!!
Still liking Missouri over Minnesota and Tennessee over Iowa.
The only thing wrong the Orange Bowl is Brent effing Musburger!!
