It’s been the rule forever. It may not make much sense, but anyone who’s played High School ball would know this by heart. I’m amazed this happened in an NCAA Tournament game. The guy was a walk-on, so maybe the moment just got the better of him.

Dayton continues to roll, knocking out Syracuse. Which means if my Jayhawks manage to beat Stanford tomorrow, they face Dayton next. :eek:
The mighty Gators’ path has gotten a skosh easier now that syracuse has gone down in a shocking upset.
I had not looked at the standings until this morning. I am surprised that I am doing as well as I am.
My Final four is still playing and 7/8 of the elite 8. Thanks Ohio St!!
I’m doing ok. Still have all of my Elite 8 still kicking. My final 4 is comprised of 1,2,4,8 seeds, so my bracket depends on that 8 seed to keep winning for at least 2, preferably 3 more games.
This Wichita St./Kentucky game is awesome.

Nah. They didn’t deserve better than that. They lost ten games and didn’t win their conference. Many of their losses were to less than stellar teams too. It’s just that they have a lot of talent and they are only now starting to play together as they are all freshmen.

Yes they did deserve a better seed (Kentucky); they should have been more like a 3-4 seed. I agree they under performed in the season somewhat, but the talent was obviously there.
