2015 NFL Draft - On The Clock!

ESPN too busy yakking to keep up with the draft, which we’re pulling up online faster.

hear hear.

Maybe they’ll nab Rivers from the Chargers

Huh, OL is all the rage in the NFC East. I hope the Cowboys get some defenders to counter that…

9th Pick - Erick Flowers - New York Giants
Finally a interesting pick. The Giants just crapped the bed. Usually the Giants are one of the soundest and most predictable teams in the draft. The almost always go BPA. I haven’t heard anyone who actually likes Flowers. It’s tough for us amateurs to scout a OL but the cut-ups I’ve watched certain make him look like a soft turnstile. I’m calling this pick a total bust. But…I did dislike the Beckham pick last year so maybe I shouldn’t get too snooty with it.

That was it? That’s the big surprise? Gurley?

An injured RB at #10? I’m surprised.

That or snickering at the Giants.

Hehe watching ESPN, and some blonde gave a real bitch-face after hugging Gurley.

I made the right choice. The Bulls are curb-stomping the Bucks. Love it, that team pissed me off.

10th Pick - Todd Gurley - St. Louis Rams
Another pick for me to complain about. I prefer Gordon to Gurley in this draft and when you factor in the injury history, this pick doesn’t make a ton of sense. I get that the Rams want to be a tough smash-mouth team and this fits their identity, but I’d have gone with Parker here.

I should have gotten beer on my way home. I drank a soda and I’m hyped up already. I’m like an ADHD kindergartner here.

They just showed a highlight of Waynes where the receiver slipped and fell and called it great coverage.

So do the Browns go sensible…or take a punter?

It’s funny because he was on the “probably high hopes but could happen” for the Packers.

The Vikings got him.

So as usual, The queens are stealing our players

11th Pick - Trae Waynes - Minnesota Vikings
Hate to say it, but I love this pick. Waynes will be a very solid player and unfortunately he’ll be in the division trying to lock down White. Very solid player, but I prefer Peters personally. Hopefully he’ll still be around in round 2.

At this point, the Bulls are up by 40 points, so you aren’t missing a “blowout”. . . you’re missing an EPIC blowout.

Do not want. They could’ve taken Parker and Mack at 19.

Nah, brah, Shelton is damn good.

Not a fan of Flowers, but I am a fan of drafting OL.

Regarding BPA, Reese says Flowers was top on their board. Which for me calls into question their board.

12th Pick - Danny Shelton - Cleveland Browns
Ha ha. Everyone had him slated for the Bears so I did a lot of research and I did not like what I saw. He’s a fat slob and the most compelling fact I saw was that he had 9 sacks last year but 6 came in weeks 1 and 2 against Hawaii and Eastern Washington. He basically got shut out in Pac-10 play. Typical Browns pick. They really needed a WR and should have grabbed Parker or Strong.

I knew there was a bad part about winning a super bowl… there is no way I’m going to be awake at 11:30 or midnight when the Pats finally pick.

Surprised at the lack of movement to this point… cue trade frenzy
