This draft is so annoying because the picks are coming really fast, but the production is dragging it out soooo much
20th Pick - Nelson Agholor - Philadelphia Eagles
Another guy I can’t really speak intelligently about. Feels like a proper value since he’s in the green room an all, but I didn’t watch any tape on him. Really like the fit since the Eagles really need WR help and I bet this guy will be a perfect complement tp what Kelly wants to do. I’m sure he will be pining for Mariota for years, but having a bunch of playmakers won’t hurt.
21st Pick - Cedric Ogbuehi - Cincinnati Bengals
He’s hurt. Otherwise I don’t know much here. Not sure why you’d want to take him over Humphries here.
The Steelers got to go defense here. Do they roll the dice with Gregory or grab the last 1st roung CB in Collins? I think Collins.
22nd Pick - Bud Dupree - Pittsburgh Steelers
Think this is a awesome pick. Hate to see it for these scumbags. Lots of people thought he’d end up being a top 10 guy so having him at 22 on paper is a steal. I don’t know his game that well, but the traditional Steelers scheme seems like a great fit for a guy that can go get it. We’ll see if the new system needs a guy a little more polished or not. Dupree is certainly a bit raw.
Another trade, Shefty thinks this was done yesterday for Ramirez. Bit of a shame, would prefer to see the Lions gag on this pick.
23rd Pick - Shane Ray - Denver Broncos
I’m shocked that Shane Ray went before Randy Gregory. Gregory has been higher on every board I remember seeing. I suppose part of it is scheme fit, Gregory is more of a 4-3 guy, but with Ray’s injury I’d have expected Gregory to be gone first. Not a great track record for Mizzou DEs transitioning to the NFL so I’m not that thrilled about this pick for the Broncos. One thing he’s not is Von Miller.
Panthers, please don’t reach for TJ Clemmings…
Ok, Not exactly the package I was expecting, but I’ll count it as a win for me. ![]()
23 for 28+2 5ths+ a serviceable but completely undistinguished OG they had 5 years ago.
I consider it good value.
24th Pick - D.J. Humphries - Arizona Cardinals
These GMs stole my board! Awesome pick for Bruce Arians and this guy is going to make that offense a heck of a lot better. They need to find someone to tote the rock, but he’s the best OL left out there and better than a few already off the board. Tomorrow is starting to get a lot rockier for my Bears.
Schefter said Dallas picked already but they still haven’t shown the Panther’s pick. Was there a trade or are they really that far behind?
25th Pick - Shaq Thomson - Carolina Panthers
So…a player without a position in the first round. Ugly. This is almost as dumb as signing 4 running backs to big contracts at the same tiime.
Ugh. There was a lot of talk around here about him the last week. I don’t get it, not at 25.
They are that far behind. Clearly they were lying when they said “limited commercial interruptions” at the start.
I’m curious who hasn’t transitioned to the well to the NFL game?
25th Pick - Breshad Perriman - Baltimore Ravens
There’s a bunch of good WRs in this draft. Didn’t like Perriman in the Combine, looked like he fought the ball every time in drills. Great size and speed, but those hands will drive Flacco insane. I was expecting the Ravens to grab Gregory here since a troubled defensive guy falling into the Ravens laps just makes too much sense.
Well, Michael Sam…
Um, Michael Sam and Kony Ealy. Shane Ray’s teammates.
So, Gregory or Jones? As long as it’s defense.
Aha! Now the Cowboys will dominate at the long jump…
