Noooo! No hating anyone, this is for fun, not stress. It looks like our packages will probably get delivered on a timely fashion, so it’s all good.
I can’t make it to the post office until December 20th, so you’ve got plenty of time.
I do plan to put everything together this weekend.
I got a package from Minnesota today! Ohboyohboyohboy. I may not wait until Christmas, being Jewish and all… Hanukah is waaaay over. We’ll see.
When people get their prezzies and open them, I hope they will come and report what goodies were sent and by what Secret Santa. That’s a big part of the fun!
No such thing as “lateness” – there’s never a bad time to get a present.
Well, stop it. It’s not like it’s vital for world peace. Unless you drew Putin as your giftee…
When sending my gift, I also sent a birthday present to a friend in Vancouver, BC. I am concerned about that package as they only way it would possibly arrive on time would be to send it through Seattle as stuff isn’t moving on the Queens Highway into town because of a washout. But the P.O. is up to hijinks again, by giving me a tracking number so I could at least follow it to the border, but when I looked it up, no tracking number so either it just isn’t being tracked or it’s already a lost package.
Glad it made it!
Just stopping by to report that a package went out yesterday, heading south. It’s expected to arrive on Tuesday, but either way should be good to go before Christmas!
Okay, I no longer hate myself, or any of you. After a somewhat fraught scramble to three different Post Offices and UPS stores, I finally got my package boxed up and mailed. Then I remembered that I hadn’t taken the price tag off on of the items.
Dammit.
Okay, Santee, when you get a box from Georgia, just…don’t look too closely at the packaging, m’kay?
I am late to saying it, but I shipped my package last week! It headed across the pond and after looking just now I saw that it departed the home country…I believe I successfully sent it! (I’ve never actually sent overseas before)
I hope everything made it ok and I hope nothing was taken out. Either way, Merry Christmas!
Just a reminder to everyone to please post when you get your package. Sadly, porch pirates are a thing
My package is winging its way southward!
My package is on its way across the continent. The post office tells me it will deliver two days from now.
Came home to a nice surprise - a package from Pennsylvania! Came in a Godiva Chocolates box, which is a nice touch. Since we’re only about a week-and-a-half away from Xmas, I’ll stick it under the tree. Thanks, Mystery Pennsylvania Santa!
OMG oh my gosh. Having erroneously reported to @JaneDoe42 that my package hadn’t arrived, I’d like to correct that statement.
Thank you, my Secret Santa! I won’t open it yet, but I will soon. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the antici - - pation
Mine is, I swear, going out tomorrow. I’ve just been … well, let’s just say things are a bit delayed.
I am SO happy for both of you!!! Great news and thank you for reporting so fast.
Ya know, you’ve done that a couple of times lately, so I’m going to watch the CD again. Back when we went to the theater, I was Magenta and hubs was Billy. Good times.
I’m already turning into a doddering old fart that makes the same joke repeatedly.
Actually, I was pointing out that not only did I get your joke, I’m old enough to have a very long history with the RHPS. The DVD is shelved right next to the Reanimator because in my mind, it’s supposed to be there.
I received a package from Georgia today! I am trying to decide if I should wait until Christmas or open it sooner. Guess I’ll see how I feel in the next few days.
Mine is off with the reindeer.
One Box of Mystery has arrived this morning from the USA!
I’m going to be good, and leave it until at least Christmas eve, tempting though it is to just take a peek.
Christmas came early to the Cups household! A big thank you to @Das_Glasperlenspiel !
The first thing I got which didn’t last long was some delicious chocolate! Then I saw two adorable snowflake ornaments that, according to the shipping box, were handmade! I must ask, by you? or a local artisean? Then I saw some hilarious and fantastic socks extolling a love of curling. If there is one thing Canada loves other than hockey, it’s curling. And last, but not least because it’s my favorite, an absolutely gorgeous coaster from my Doper’s hometown in Canadia.
Thank you so so much!
