NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has died at 41. Just hours before it was announced he was hospitalized due to an illness and would not be racing this weekend. Whatever happened, happened quick.
I don’t follow any racing like this and even I had heard of Kyle Busch.
I wonder what illness it was. Life, man. Here one second, gone forever the next. Wow.
“Illness” in a press release can cover a lot of things I wouldn’t consider an illness in conversation. A heart attack could be cardiovascular disease. But also sometimes an illness like the flu can turn very quickly. My otherwise healthy cousin thought she was just a little sick but she collapsed and died within a day. Influenza that turned into septic shock.
Carlo Petrini, excellent cook, founder of the Slow Food movement, and a great person to work for, as I once had the honour and the pleasure to find out, has died aged 76 from prostate cancer:
Now it takes one.
That’s some points!
Just reported (radio news). Causes of death include severe pneumonia and sepsis.
If this was a different type of death pool I would have won. That’s exactly what I told my wife it was going to be.
Dang that sucks.
The body of “Virgin River” actor Stewart McLean was found days after he was reported missing in the Canadian province of British Columbia, according to officials. He was 45.
It takes none, the other guy died a couple years ago.
No, he didn’t. DJ EZ is alive and kicking as of this post.
Anyway…
Diane Carlson, founder of the Vietnam Women’s Memorial Foundation, dead at 79 from cancer.
Damn, just saw this. Another of the sax greats gone.
(Marshall Allen is still going strong though, just celebrated his 102nd birthday !!)
Yes he did. He died in 2014 (diabetes).
Neale Daniher dead at 35 points. Anyone have him? I had him in the themed list but not here.
Perhaps DJ E-Z Rock and DJ EZ are two different people?
