I can’t speak for my brethren, but I plan to peruse the spoiler threads after I’ve watched this season’s shows, just to glean insight and steal jokes. 
Occasionally, as you’ve already no doubt noticed, I have returned to those threads to post comments, warnings, etc., but I try to handle that very carefully when I do.
Rather than bump up a bunch of old threads, I expect to start a “Please discuss “24” with me” thread when the season is over, like I did last year.
I’ll go along with that. You are the Remington Steele of TV watching. I’ve always been loathe to let people choose their own monikers, but this one merits an exception. It correctly suggests a certain air of temerity as well as a sense of a job well done.

Thanks, BiblioCat. Credit where credit is due, though: Munch came up with the idea last season for the season finale. I’m just the Kneady-come-lately who had the idea to turn it into a weekly series.

You definitely have the right idea; watching it all in one sitting. This week-by-week crap is making me crazy.
Yeah, but then it’s over much too quickly. I watched Seaosn one over four days and it was over way too soon. Watching it weekly, the excitement and suspense are great enough, IMO, to sustain interest over several months. Kudos to them.
It’s already out on R2, and if you ask nice they’ll trade in the last disc for one with the uncut version of the final ep on it - the one US TV didn’t show.
Ironically, despite downloading the last 10 eps of 24 S1 to watch it all weeks sooner, I still haven’t got past 7pm and the UK is now showing S2. I wonder how that’s going to work - “I’m Federal Agent Jack Bauer, and today is the second-longest day of my life”?
Mind you, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was invalided off the CTU after S1; 19 hours and he hasn’t gone to the lavatory once…
