24: Question about Nina's fate

Sarah Clarke has a small part in the Twilight movie and it got me to thinking about Nina Myers, her character from 24.

I love Nina so much, she was practically the perfect villain and a great foil for Jack (some would say, his only worthy foil). I know Jack shot Nina several times near the end of season three, supposedly killing her.

But Nina wasn’t on screen for the shooting and it’s possible Jack shot around her. Seeing as how other supposedly dead characters came back with these kinds of writer cheats, is it possible Nina could too or has anyone ever commented to Jack about killing Nina?

Judging by how they’ve treated the show in the past, I’d say that there is always the chance she’ll come back. At this point it’s probably unlikely as they’ve moved onto different plot threads and stuff like that, but they probably kept her off-screen for the shooting specifically so that they could bring her back if they ever needed to.
