I checked it last night, he definitely didn’t go back in yet. He got his beating at 1:54. The remaining 6 minutes was the bad guys killing the drillmaster, and then the girl killing the bad guy.
Maybe she’s actually River Tam. Badger kidnapped her to get back at Mal and handed her up the chain of command.
That’d actually be pretty damn interesting to watch; Jack Bauer vs River Tam.
