I could have sworn that I actually heard VP “Bat” Guano threaten to overthrow the POTUS…in front of the cabinet and the Joint Chiefs! Isn’t that some sort of treasonous act, even in the 24-verse?

And exactly what can the Attorney General do about restoring Daniels to power?

I like the idea of Wayne forcing Daniels to tender his resignation. How about Karen Hayes as the new VP…and possibly next season’s POTUS? Yeah, I know there’s a whole Congressional approval process, but 24 always manages to uncover some little-known emergency executive power to sidestep such things.
Doyle’s Denver buddy will probably prove to be very involved in all this. His expression was a little too smug when Doyle threatened him.
