You may have a point. They’ve been spending time together this season and may be cross-training.
Probably doing prep for tomorrow and getting a pot of stock on to simmer. That’s not an uncommon restaurant practice.

Give the guy a fuckin’ break. He had a lot on his mind. He just shot his son, had Jack in his basement and was in the middle of a nuclear arms trade. 
OK. I’ll give the guy a break and assume he was just chopping them up to make soup.
I laughed out loud at that part. It was a total redshirt moment! I can only imagine that guy’s going to factor in somehow and mess things up.
