FAQ Bauer (aka Thread Rules) 1) What can be discussed in plain text, unboxed?
A: Any events in episodes, once aired on the east coast – as well as any speculation based on these already-aired events.
2) What should I confine to spoiler boxes?
A: Any discussion of upcoming shows that contains information from sources outside the aired material, or any speculation based on such things. This includes the “Next week on 24” previews, which some people choose not to watch.
3) Now that Hassan has assumed room temperature, does this mean Jack can go home?
A: Silly person. Any time Jack gets involved, we know he won’t be finished for one full day.
Previously on 24:
CTU gets the bomb back, but Tarin absconds with Pres. Hassan. Then Tarin does a nose dive off the parking garage roof. Judges mark him a 9 for form, but a 4 for not sticking the landing.
Dana’s ass is busted. She sounded like she was trying to be a Bond villian: “Tick Tock, Mr. Bauer”. Madame Pres rolled out the Immunity Deal form – apparently getting a lot of use these days.
But Hassan got a new smile carved in his neck, so looks like the immunity deal is off.
Chloe gonna be the big CTU boss for the next hours? heh – nice.
Hastings gets to be the scapegoat of the hour.
If “Division” is going to fire somebody, how about fire the whole HR department? They keep letting the moles in.
For the first time in 24 history, during an actual “day”, Jack Bauer gets to step foot back into his current residence? (After leaving it in the initial part of the season, of course).
And another first – Jack gets some action during his “day”? Sweeeeet!
Oh great, and now they are going to suffer sniperus interruptus?
Damn, they killed her off. Figured something like this might happen (since I’ve heard that it won’t be an entirely happy ending for Jack) – but thought it would be more towards the end of the season.
It’s sad that I only got the reference because of the Troi reference.
It’s sad even more that I only started watching TNG in the past 6 months or so.
But, I’m not that sure I agree. In terms of position, yes, but Chloe isn’t in touch with her own emotions, (I don’t handle praise well) , much less anyone elses’, unlike Troi.
But, I think Chloe is good enough, she sure did wake up to the position immediately. You could have given me a million guesses tonight, and I Would not have guessed Chloe at top. I was kinda figuring she would be a Mole*.
Given that we only have what, 6 more episodes of 24, I wouldn’t rule it out. 24 has done more bizarre things, just ask Tony.
