Kalloo! Kallay! My mug arrived today!
Grrlbrarian sent me a truly neat Cat D9R mug that fits my hand perfectly. It’s going to retain the heat of my coffee/cocoa quite nicely this winter, and is heavy enough for hand-to-hand should my seniors get rowdy. Also inclosed was some praline coffee that the wife already glommed onto and a bag of Corn-Nuts, which I love. Thank you! She enclosed a nice note as well.

- AWESOME package from jeyrey arrived Friday with wonderful chocolates, shortcake, and 2 - COUNT 'EM, 2! - coffee mugs! I had a terrible head cold all weekend and sipping tea out of my new mugs and snacking on chocolate bars, chocolate covered hazelnuts, and shortbread was the perfect medicine, thank you!!

I received TWO awesome mugs from **Baker **yesterday: both handmade by artists in her area. One has a beautiful sunflower (Baker, you remembered I love sunflowers!) and the other has the head of a dragon emerging from the lip and the dragon’s tail is the handle. It is very unusual. I have a friend who drops by for coffee sometimes who will love it (but can’t have it!). Thanks, Baker. You rock!

Well crap. I missed out on this. I promise next year I’ll watch for this to pop up a little more closely.
The sunflower is also a Kansas symbol, being the state flower. I have sunflower wallpaper in my kitechen, it brightens up the north facing room.
Glad to see you like them! You shouls see my dragon, it has a jutting jaw and LOTS of sharp, pointy teeth.
My package arrived! Inside? A first-cup-of-the-day sized coffee mug from Sylvia’s Cafe in Ellsworth, Maine, chocolate-covered blueberries, blueberry honey and Maine maple champagne mustard! The blueberries are hidden from my husband, the honey will go on my breakfast toast and the mustard will be part of the glaze for the Thanksgiving ham! A toast, from my new mug, to Atomic Mama!!
