I loved that Jenna took to crutches again when not getting attention, and her run when Liz said “You can tell them about the commercial…”. Great job of making Tina Fey look like a 20 year old info bimbo.
Dean Winters is always a welcome appearance. Glad to see his character got beepers out of his system in exchange for something more lucrative like the basement coffee machine. “I’m sorry for ruining you for other guys.”
Great episode. Soo many funny things last night! Whizzing, Jacking, muppets, muppet-walk, Grizz and Adam West. Tracy’s fake space trip wasn’t great, but it had a moment or two, and the rest made up for it.
I didn’t even notice this joke, there was so much happening in this episode.
It was one of the funniest if not the funniest episode. The way Kenneth sees the world was priceless (and the way Jack sees the world was the opposite of priceless.)
It was Tracy’s big dream. But Jack said that Tracy’s contract prohibited dangerous activities, like extreme sports, or riding the subway on St Patrick’s Day.
That and the bad sex tape really made the episode for me (especially the pizza and ‘playful’ tug of war). I love anything that puts Tina Fey in a bad wig.
Tracy: “Wow Kenneth, look at the size of that rocket you’re holding!”
Kenneth: “It’s Mr. Donoughey’s! Can you believe he let me hold it?!”
Tracy: “I wish mine was that big!”
On most “normal” sitcoms, they might come up with a wild wacky scheme like “this guy wants to go into space, so we’ll fake it for him”. And it might have some funny moments, but you’d be rolling your eyes at it the whole time.
On 30 Rock, it fits so perfectly into the (utterly insane) established parameters of Tracy’s character that I could just enjoy it for the sheer ridiculousness of it.
