I almost passed out laughing - Jenna answering her fan mail by wiping lunchmeat on underwear and putting the underwear in an envelope…

Good episode so far!

“Jack - Ryan. Ryan - Jack.” Heh.

Was there some reason that tonight’s episode was sponsored by women’s bodily functions, though?

I laughed when the monkey’s pants fell down. That was funny, even though it was a female monkey.

Definitely a fun episode… but I was scratching my head trying to figure out if the various women Jack was dating were famous people doing cameos or not. It kind of seemed like they might be, which would parallel Ryan Lochte, but I’m terrible at recognizing anyone.

Ken Tremendous is the Twitter handle of Michael Schur who is the creator/producer on The Office and Parks and Rec. He also plays Mose on The Office. I am sure the name was a shout out to him but not sure if that was him who played the character though.

I haven’t seen that episode yet. Was the lunchmeat baloney or tongue?

I’m glad someone started this thread. I watch this show religiously… at least I thought I did, but obviously I missed something big:
What happened to Avery? And Jack’s daughter? How did I miss this?

Alec Baldwin looks great since he’s lost weight.

I loved the “Sex in the City” scene at the end with Liz in bed typing on her laptop.

Jack and Avery decided to renew their vows after she was released from North Korea and asked Liz to officiate the renewal ceremony, but given Jack’s lust for Avery’s mother and Avery’s obvious feelings for the man she’d been held hostage with, they turned it into an amicable divorce ceremony instead. So Avery and Liddy are out of the picture. I’m just glad that storyline is over. Margaret Cho was great, but a young mother being held hostage is very unfunny. This season has been up and down, but the Jack storyline last night was very good.

Are we going to have to endure an entire season of Liz making incredibly awkward & inappropriate statements about her sex life? Because that would be outstanding.

“We’ve been taking the dumptruck to the boneyard most nights!”

I loved that she was wearing a tutu while lounging at home.

Like they’ve been doing for the entire series? I hope so!

Geez… I actually SAW that episode (I toldja I watched them all), but it did not stick to my teflon brain. I’m also glad the marriage is out.

Although I loved the episode after the baby was born and Jack said to Liz from Canada, “Liddy was born in Canada, but we’re going to raise her as a human child.”

I can’t recall if there was a thread about last week’s episode, but I loved Jack’s line about why Paul Ryan suddenly dropped out as Romney’s VP: “Turns out he was born in Kenya. [pause] There’s not much you can say about that.”

Yes, that was hilarious. I was kind of hoping it would turn out that Romney was tanking the election like Jack was doing at NBC, and that maybe Romney was going to buy NBC if Jack could convince Hank Hooper to sell. No mention of any of that this week.

I’m pretty sure that this episode was a put down of Animal Practice, the NBC sitcom starring a monkey that they’ve been promoting incessantly. And which just got cancelled, though they couldn’t have known that when they taped.

Last week’s episode was classic; this week’s good. I hope they ease off on the old jokes no matter how much everybody in show business obsesses over age. They’re never funny.

Wasn’t it the same monkey even?

Jane Krakowski in the little dress made me feel funny in my private area.

Would that be your “bathing suit area”?

I am proud to say that I don’t have the faintest idea.

I was flossing my teeth as I read this and you made me laugh and choke at the same time.

Alec Baldwin is indeed awfully hot since he lost some weight - grrrrrooowwww!

I don’t watch the show religiously (it’s on against something I like more - I forget what) - is Liz still living with James Franco?

Yes, he was on the previous episode (Liz spices up her sex life by organizing it, like a sexy Dusseldorf bus schedule). He had a shaved head for some reason.
