30 Rock Season Finale

I liked it. Matthew Broderick was great as Cooter Burger. He is really good at quirky comedy and should have his own tv show. Does Matthew just get heavier, but not older? They really skewered the Bush administration.

Liz’s pregnancy scare was pretty good and it showed how much she counts on Jack, and that Jack is a pretty good friend even outside of the business setting. I was suprised she never seemed to consider getting an abortion, although she has shown a big interest in babies in another episode and I guess the clock is ticking.

I remember when 30 Rock was about producing a weekly comedy show. I would like them to do that again.

Another very funny episode.

“I’m having my freedom search.”

It’s like each week, they try to find the most absurd thing to stick in with Tracey Morgan.

“Hey, Miss Lemon, do the nipples on this wizard look right to you?”

(matter of factly) “Are the lightning bolts supposed to be going in or out?”

So funny when “SLO-BOT” comes out after a few hours with a full grown beard.

Broderick was great:

“It’s not leaking. We’ve done a study on it. I could show it to you.”

Loved how he made Jack his best friend.

Huh, I had the exact opposite reaction - I was wondering when Ferris Bueller joined AARP. He was great though - “It wasn’t even a burger, it was just a sandwich.”

I saw Baby Mama last week and only now realized she’s played the same character :smack: . What did Kenneth and that women say in Mandarin at the end; there weren’t any subtitles.

Another good episode. I rather liked how the mexican cheese curls of all things caused the false positive.

Frank: Okay, I played the game for a few hours. It’s okay, I guess.
Tracy: A few hours? It’s been three months!
Frank (see his reflection): AAAAUGH!
Tracy: I’m gonna be a billionaire!

Then there was that whole bit with Kathy Geiss and the Hot Wheels car in her mouth.

From memory:

Jack: You guys don’t have pens?

Cooter: We’re not in a recession!

:stuck_out_tongue:

One of the best of the season. I was very entertained with all of Jack and Cooter’s scenes.

Cooter had two nicknames, Cooter because he looks like a turtle and Burger because the president once saw him eat a burger. It wasn’t even a burger, it was a sandwich.

I don’t remember any of those lines… were they at the very beginning or in a deleted scene or something?

I am so surprised there has not been some reaction from a “Mentally-Challenged” advocacy group over her character.

Cooter - “We have a meeting with the appropriations meeting like now.”
Jack - “Oh no, I’m not prepared”
Cooter “I know I’m not drunk either, but we’ll manage.”

Or something like that.
