5-year-old son wearing my underclothing

I’m on this team. I once dated a guy who had a foot fetish. I was fine with it and asked him how old he was when he first realized he was into feet. He said he used to sneak into his sister’s room and steal her Barbies, hogtie them, and then leave them hidden around the house in “dungeons” with their feet showing. I can’t remember how old he said, but I think it was pretty young – maybe around 7 or 8? He told me this very funny story of his dad working on the pipes under the kitchen sink and finding a couple Barbies all hogtied and stashed under there. We had a good laugh over that one.

Dammit. I hate when I stumble across an interesting thread, reply, then go back and read and notice a user name of someone who has been banned for a while and then I realize…

I’ve been conned into replying to a zombie thread. :o

I was tipped off when I saw my own post at #16. Otherwise I might have done the same.

I’m curious how things worked out for the OP’s kid?

He’s almost 13 now and this was definitely a phase that passed long ago. Reading it now I feel silly that I was so worried but also clearly remember how troubling I found it at the time. As for his sexuality he’s straight, and as for his sartorial choices, they are all boy.

Thank you for the update!

They don’t come with instructions, do they?

:o

Thanks, Hedda! These threads just aren’t the same without an update.

People often complain and bitch about zombie threads. But getting a response like this, years later from the OP, can be so satisfying. Especially in this case when it is about a young child and his development.

Hedda might not have gone back and updated this thread on her own, but because a new poster responded to her thread she, ISTM, was motivated to catch us all up.

Dont hate on the zombie! Don’t fear the undead!!

If only this had been titled “5 year old son wearing me underclothing” to go along with that thread!

Dennis

Yep. I was probably 6 or 7 when I started tying my barbies up and staging elaborate kidnapping dramas. Didn’t figure out I was into BDSM until much, much later.

I love feet, not, you know, sexually, but they are a pretty significant erogenous zone. I could totally get it on with a foot fetish guy.

This. I don’t get the zombie hate. This was an interesting thread, and it was awesome to find out how it turned out.

My son started wearing women’s clothing as a teen. But he bought his own stuff, or borrowed from friends. Not all the time, just sometimes. He’s straight, and I’m not certain why he likes to dress up in skirts, but it seems harmless.

This usage has been made famous in The Beatles song, “Can’t Buy Me Underclothing.”

There’s a clothes designer who goes by Palomo Spain, whose clothing is, in his own words “totally for boys, but yeah I can understand if a woman wants to wear it.” His famous clients include among others Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus, and I’m reasonably sure both of them are female.

He points out that while most of his stuff corresponds to things which are currently not viewed as masculine, all of it used to be considered so at some point.

Or, as my then 3yo Nephew pointed out in church after one of his many discussions on gendered clothing against his mother, “Saint Joseph wears a dress! And him, and him, and him!”
