Many, many times.
Agreed–and thanks for posting the cite.
I guess I assumed that the lie about the cops (according to Carlson) giving Chansley a personal tour was so egregious as not to need a citation.
He’s a lying liar who lies for his own personal gain.
I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they were giving him a tour. The thing is, that doesn’t vindicate him. It just makes the cops accomplices to his crimes. They certainly didn’t act towards him the way American cops usually act towards someone in their sights.
What, they don’t act normal when they are out numbered? I am shocked. Damn those cops are tricky.
They’re Capitol Police, which usually means something like a cross between an usher in a movie theater and an information booth attendant.
There is a concept in police tactics called de-escalation. It’s commonly employed in situations where police are outnumbered, outgunned or if escalation of a situation would cause more problems for them than it would solve.
I encourage you to study this before passing judgment on what the Capitol Police did that day.
We may be crossing wires because the footage I’m referring to showed a number of cops and one MAGA goon. Tuckums says the way the police treated Chansley proves he wasn’t out of line, I see another possibility. And I haven’t passed judgement, I just said I wouldn’t be surprised to learn such is the case.
(I missed the edit window)
They wouldn’t be the first MAGA cultists in uniform, after all.
But that’s not my point. This is my point, which is mine: Carlson’s claim, if true, which it isn’t, isn’t the win he must think it is. Chansley already pleaded guilty, so showing cops being friendly with him and showing him around wouldn’t make him look good or legitimize his presence, it only makes his tour guides look bad. I’m not saying the cops are obviously accomplices, just that Carlson’s making them look like it.
A living G.I. Joe doll is sentenced:
Seriously, This guy looks like one of the old 12" joe dolls from before the 80’s.
I must correct my post. He was convicted. not sentenced.
But I’ll agree: he is the spittin’ image of the action doll of my youth, even if his hair and beard don’t radiate out at the expected angle.
You’ve really buried the lede here:
THE MAN’S NAME IS “HATCHET SPEED”.
Prosecutors shared with the defense internal FBI messages sent and received by [Agent Nicole] Miller at work that supported her testimony. The messages were supposed to be scrubbed of any classified information, but it apparently was still accessible in hidden sections of the Excel spreadsheet supplied to the defense, according to Politico.
Shoulda faxed it to them.
None of these e-fangled doohickey things!
D’oh! Did the DOJ hire some of Alex Jones’s lawyers for this case?
LOL, I was thinking the same thing.
“Did you realize the DOJ sent the entire contents of an FBI field office file server in Dropbox in response to our discovery request?”
Now the government’s cooperation with the lizard people is on the record.
There may be something to this Deep State jive after all…
This hit the news yesterday:
