Putting “pass” will work, Ellen. I don’t have a scoring tool like I do for the Feuds. Thanks for fixing up the rules.

The ones where I left it blank it just seemed too silly to try and guess. The stupid thing is I know almost all of these songs, but just can’t think of some of the words. Thought I knew a lot more of these, too.

I know I’m gonna kick myself when I see a few of these…they’re right on the tip of my tongue, but I just can’t get them…
And then I’ll kick myself again when I find out how horrible wrong I am on some of the ones i ‘know’…

A two word answer. Sorry for the confusion.
21 definitely has two different answers depending on which verse or chorus you pick.

There is only one that is driving me crazy: What freakin’ song is #44 ???
(spoilerize, obviously)
La Grange - ZZ Top
Only answered about 30 of these; I’ll be interested to see how many of them I got right.
Funny how you hear some songs hundreds of times and still can’t remember all the words.

No it doesn’t.
There is a distinct difference between which verb the subject in question is doing around the singer’s door at any given chorus. The verb corresponds consistently with the noun that the singer doesn’t want to see, IIRC.
So as worded, there is only one answer. The hard part is remembering which is which.
That’s the way it always sounded to me, and this site agrees with me.
As for your , you’d have to talk to the composer about it. My guess is he wanted a two-syllable word.
[spoiler]Regarding #21:
Don’t come hangin’ around my door
I don’t wanna see your face no more
<or>
Don’t come knockin’ around my door
Don’t wanna see your shadow no more
And yep, she pulled her harpoon out of her dirty red bandana.
Also, Sparky812, thanks for the La Grange answer (though it came to me out of the blue much later when I wasn’t even thinking about this thread).
