California resident for 33.5 years. This is the first quake that I have felt and knew it was an earthquake when it was happening. It appears to be centered about 30 miles ese from me and early indications are a magnatude 5.5 on the Richter(sp) scale
I felt it, and it felt a bit stronger than yesterday’s to me. In fact, the last four earthquakes I’ve felt have all come while I was here at work. My building is on rollers, and is therefore very sensitive to the motion of earthquakes, so I have a higher probability of feeling them when I’m here.
deadeyesdad, are you talking about the one east of Bakersfield at about 4:00 p.m. PST? I couldn’t quite interpret your location.
Dang! That’s a lot of quakes in two days in California.
I felt it up here in Fresno. It felt about the same as the Parkfield quake yesterday.
