90s TV show

I’ve been trying to figure out the name of a (I believe) 90s tv show. I suspect it was Canadian in origin. It was a supernatural / thriller program. There were 3 protagonists. There were a young “couple” in their 20s, I believe a redhead and her cousin or brother, and an older gentleman. Their mission involved hunting down and retrieving supernatural items that had been in the collection of I think maybe their uncle or grandfather’s estate, that had been sold at auction. Each episode involved a separate item that had fallen into unsuspecting hands. I had at first thought that it was “Poltergeist - The Legacy”; however, same genre, completely different series. I haven’t been having any any luck hunting this down on my own. Thanks.

Friday the 13th: The Series.

I remember when Warehouse 13 was first being spoken of, there were many comparisons made between it and Friday the 13th (which weirdly had no tangible connection with the movie series whatsoever, despite it being technically a spinoff).

I remember that series with great fondness – the first couple years of the series were absolutely killer. Not much blood and gore, it being TV, but some decent suspense. They used to replay it on the SF channel back when it actually would play SF shows. Unfortunately the only full set I found for sale recently has bad customer reports as being formatted only for play on a computer DVD not on a TV DVD system and bad customer service on the sellers site … otherwise I would buy the set =(

Definitely Friday the 13th: The Series. It wasn’t auctioned items from the uncle’s estate but rather cursed items sold from his antique shop, which was apparently actually a front for the collection of cursed items and their safekeeping.

Is the fact that you asked this on a Friday the 13th irony?

My asking this on a Friday the 13th certainly is ironic. However, it wasn’t deliberate on my part, though I can’t rule out possibility of the powers that be messing with me. First, I really didn’t know the name of the series, and to make matters worse, I wasn’t even aware that it was the 13th. I guess it was a lucky day for me though, because I’ve now been able to add all three seasons to my Netflix queue. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Surely this concept (a certain item from a bigger collection all of which have stories behind them) are a variation on the old radio show The Black Museum.

No, it’s just a coincidence. It would be irony if the boards went down due to being possessed by a demon, immediately after the OP was posted.

It would only be ironic if Alanis Morissette posted it.

Thanks for this thread. It inspired me to get the show from Netflix - first disc arrived today.
Also I vaguely remember asking this same question years ago on the Dope, but can’t find the old thread, so maybe I dreamed it.

BTW - the SyFy channel is running a marathon of this series today until 5pm.

I was a young teen when this show first aired and I used to think of the redhead quite a bit during my “alone time.”
