Unfortunately, it looks like our resident bard, Sir Swampus, not only managed to wake her out of a sound sleep, but pissed her off right good… I discovered a grey hair this morning.

Also, mad jealous that you’re seeing Pendulum. They almost never come to Toronto to do shows, and when they do, they seem to intentionally pick dates when I can’t go. Sniff.

I talked to daughter a bit ago - they’ve stopped at South of the Border. They hope to spend the night in Georgia and get to Orlando tomorrow. So I should probably go downstairs and check on their cat.
**FCD **is at the boat, putting on the new sail. I think we may be going out to eat tonight. I think. Not sure. He’s got an interview next week - not at the ice cream place, but at a company in this county. So we’ll see.

Howdy Y’all! I’m home and fed. I turned leftover potroast into sorta Philly Cheesesteaks with the addition of pepper jack cheese and sauteed bell peppers (yep, the ones I birthed!) and onions. They were good!
I also bought the car tag for Truck today. I learned sump’n. In Jawja, if you buy you a new vehicle within 59 days of your birthday, your car tag will cost you twenty bucks for the whole next year. Thus, my car tag is good until my birthday next year and my birthday this year ain’t even happened yet. Imagine that!
BBBobbio there ain’t enough grrrr for a stunt like that. Here’s hopin’ the pinkeye clears up soon.

I found out today that I have to go to San Antonio, TX next month. I’m attending a conference there. It was a real pain in the ass trying to find a room by the conference since reservations should have been made AGES ago. I got the go ahead to book a room that is over the per diem rate, but am actually exceeding the my total per diem by nine dollars since one of the nights will be free.
I’m not overly thrilled, but I hope to network some and learn some things as well.

So…for once the weather forecast was actually right and it rained. Quite a bit even. And it sounds like it’s about to rain more. And thunderboom and everything. Guess I’ll get offline.
Well hubby is still employed but only because the stoopid manager (who took my job when I got transfered) didn’t show up to work yesterday. They laid off people at the other yard in town so now everyone is on edge til next week when the boss is back in town. Hate this.
He is still sick to and in some serious pain and now on vicodin. I want to jump on a plane and go see him
Went out for beers last night got home hideously late then it thundered all night so no sleep for me!
On the plus side today I get to meet with the class of new engineers that started their induction this week and scare them! We are an evil evil bad bad set of training managers we have bets on who will not last the first 6 months - you can just tell!
I woke up an hour before my alarm went off today. Oh well.
After I finish with today’s lunch I’m going to have GilaMonster deliver it because Sock Lady is taking me out of for lunch for my birthday! It’s my choice on where to go and I’m debating on a wonderful little Mexican restaurant or another place in the same town that has yummy bison burgers and freshly made jo jos served with sour cream. Either way it will be totally yummy.
Then after that I’ve got to go pick up my glasses. I was quite surprised when I got the call that they were finished already as I only had my eye exam on Tuesday! I’m glad to get them, though. Lately I’ve been having trouble driving after dark and that’s the only time that I’ll need them. I got lenses with an anti-glare coating and the doctor said that should help too. When I had lasix 7 years ago they said that this might happen eventually.
She definitely deserves a trout slap.
