In a Whitman’s sampler or the like, which is your favorite? I personally go immediately for the chocolate-covered caramels, esp. if they’re covered in dark chocolate.
I like the ones with chocolate in them.

I start with anything with white chocolate, then go from there: caramel, milk, or stuff with stuff inside. The dark chocolate gets given away.
Me too! I innocently take those first without saying what I’m doing. Then I go for anything with nuts (oh, they say that about me) and then I become generous and give the rest away. I like orange creme with dark chocolate if it’s in there.
The chocolate covered nuts are my favorite , followed closely by the haystack thingies , the piles of chocolat-drenched coconut . Mmmmmmmmmmmm…
I want the one with the chocolate sprinkles on the outside and the chocolate kinda cream stuff inside. Hell Yeah!
I’m a dark chocolate caramel girl too. Next I like the cream fillings, like strawberry of vanilla. I don’t care for truffles or solids – its just chocolate on chocolate, no contrast.
Oh, and I give away the white chocolates. Perhaps Anaamika and I should go in on a box.
And most finally that “life is like a box of chcolates” speech drives me bonkers. You DO know what you’re going to get – there’s a flipping CHART.
After seeing this thread, I might just go treat myself to a box of chocolates … yum.
I like the dark chocolate butter cremes. When there was a candy store in our local mall, I’d buy a half-pound of butter cremes.
The local “good” candy company (Asher’s, for any Philly types) used to be based in a funky little plant in Germantown, very close to where I live. They had a tiny little shop in front where they sold, in addition to a selection of their usual wares, what were called “hurt” candies – stuff that had come through the machine in less than perfect condition (dented, etc.). Which they sold at a discount. So, yeah, there was occasionally a trip over there at that time of the month for a bag o’ hurt caramels.
I put 'em out of their misery! 
Oo, I think we would do very well together! We might just fight over the cream fillings. I love truffles, so I’ll take those, too.

I go for the dark chocolates first. And I love the orange creams and the shredded coconut.
I like the chocolates with chocolate inside. Lindor truffles for me; mmmmm, a spherical chocolate orgasm in my mouth…
Then we can share, because that’s all I will eat.
