Pick THREE from a box of chocolates (Russell Stover)...

There’s a box of Assorted Russell Stover chocolates on the table, and you can pick any three. Without consideration for scarcity or what other people around you might want, which ones do you take?

Crap, I put Chocolate Truffle in there twice, and left out the Pecan & English Walnut Cluster. Please mention in-thread if you’d pick the latter one.
Anyway, my preference (if we were voting for more than three) goes something like:

Roman Nougat >>>>>>> Chocolate Truffle > Molasses Chew >> Peanut Butter Crunch > Chocolate Butter Cream.

Oh, I’m also curious to hear about people’s LEAST favorite chocolates. The bottom of my list would be:

  1. Raspberry Caramel
  2. Fruit & Nut Caramel
  3. Pecan & English Walnut Cluster

Dark chocolate orange cream. I’d buy a whole box of those if someone would just make them.

All three of mine are creams. Love 'em.

Heavy on the creams and truffles. No sticky stuff - I’ve lost enough fillings to those things already.

I don’t know the names. But my choice in any box is usually a dark chocolate fruit jelly, a toffee and a nut confection, usually cashew.

An aside: My mom used to poke holes in the bottoms of all of them with her fingernail. Was that “without consideration for . . . what other people around you might like?”

Cat Whisperer, if it doesn’t have to be Russell Stover, the other day I bumped into a site online where you could mix and match your choices. Unfortunately I’ve forgotten the name. Maybe Harry and David? Maybe someone else will know.

:smack:

How did I miss the poll?

Sings “Oh, I yoost go nuts at Christmas.”

I’m a creme guy. Raspberry, Orange and Vanilla for me.

Honestly, I hate the chocolates with nuts in them - I’m glad when someone else gets those first.

You can do it with Russell Stover, apparently.

Shoulda been See’s; I’m not familiar enough with these to know which are good. (What the heck is Roman nougat?)

What’s the difference between Maple Nut Cream and Maple Nut Butter? I’m just curious. I chose them both. I loves me some maple.

Mmm. I’m a huge fan of the english toffee widgets. Turtles are nice too, though only in milk chocolate for me; my mother prefers dark. Sadly, neither of these are on your list. I’m not a big fan of creams 'n the like.

Love sweet fillings with my chocolate. Caramel is almost an instinct now, and I looked at the cremes for anything that sounded tasty.

No creams. Ick. Milk Chocolate Caramel, Dark Chocolate caramel and chocolate covered salted caramel.

StG

Not really a candy eater, but I like maple and I figure you can’t go wrong with vanilla cream. No love for diabetics? I could swear they had diabetic candy.

I like 2 of the above best, but I voted for 3, since chocolate truffle is listed twice.

Do they still sell Russell Stover chocolates?

I’m going to have to vote for the spring surprise.

I’m good with having two chocolate truffles to go with my chocolate butter cream

If that wasn’t an option, I’d take the peanut butter crunch.
