I have to go in for the same type of ultrasound, on get this, Christmas Eve morning. Yeah, having the same worries as you with regards to the water thing.

I have to bake brownies tonight to bring in to work tomorrow. Don’t want to, but it’s my branch’s turn to provide the birthday treats. It is to laugh; our branch consists of me, my co-worker and the new supervisor. The new supervisor is one of the birthday people, so that just leaves me and the co-worker to provide treats for the entire division. No bigs, I guess.
I guess I should get chop-chop started. I’m not particularly hungry, but I’m sure the rest of the family is.
Hee. Ok, I guess I didn’t know what aspirin was. But I’m no longer allowed to take Aleve or any drugs that are similar. Aspirin and Tylenol are ok, so I just guessed that Aspirin was some other kind of drug. :o
Arrrgh! It still won’t start. I’m not going to force it, either. It’s just too damned cold. If it starts in the morning, I will call my ride and tell her I don’t need her, otherwise at least I have a way to get to work! It’s supposed to warm up over the weekend, but I won’t believe it until I see it.
That’s kind of odd, Pie. Aspirin, ibuprofen and Aleve fall into the same general class and Tylenol into a different one. You might want to ask about aspirin again.

I have trainin’ either this mornin’ or tomorrow mornin’ (yeah, it’s that organized!) on a new system that goes live tomorrow, doesn’t work half the time but is replacin’ a system that does work. This should be entertainin’! :rolleyes:
I am still tired today although I had a much better night. We went out for beerverages, always a good start, and I was in bed before midnight. He slept in the spare room 'cos he snores, and I got more sleep than the night before. Still looking forward to the weekend when I don’t have to get up early though.
It is freakin’ cold again. Dry and cold. I have to head off to some training in a bit. By all accounts, it’s actually supposed to be pretty good and entertaining as well, but I’ve got work to do and it just cuts into my day.
Good gracious, I cannot quit yawing. The quad shot americano is not cutting it today.

I need to stop and get gas on the way home. I also need to stop by the bank and, finally, I need to buy a gift for tomorrow’s white elephant gift exchange at the Christmas party.
I’m not feeling at all holiday-ish. Don’t know why I just can’t get into it this season.

I think I knew we shared our anniversary, but I forgot. :o
We ended up not doing anything. We were going to go out, but the storm had just wrapped up in the afternoon, the roads were still bad, and it’s frickin’ freezin’ out there. So we stayed in. And had leftovers. And went to bed early. Not the good kind of going to bed, the falling in to bed and going to sleep kind. Not the greatest anniversary, but all either of us was up for. We’ve got my work party tomorrow night so that’ll be an excuse to dress up and go out.
Just a quick drive-by. It’s one of those back-to-back-to-back-to-back meeting kind of days. Ew. The downside of the promotion is that I’m starting to take on a lot of my new responsibilities while wrapping up a lot of my old ones… especially since my replacement hasn’t really been stepping up his game as much as I’d hoped he would by now. Grrrr.
