It’s been a very quiet baking day, which is nice, because we’ve got a Family Weekend ahead of us. This time I’m sure my kid will ruin my inlaw’s white furniture. Which will serve them right for buying white furniture when they know they’ll have four grandkids under four.
Home. Critters fed. Another batch of krispy treats made (the first one disappeared muy pronto.) **FCD **didn’t want poke chops, so we’re going to graze on whatever for dinner. I may grab a hunk o’ leftover chickie tit. A chickie tit sammich maybe?
Work was yet another pain in the patoot. I had to attend a VTC - oh how I hate them - and I really didn’t get a lot done. Fortunately, I’ve got the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas and New Years when there won’t be many folks around and I should be able to get a LOT done. So yay for that.
Almost Firday. About (#%^(^#$& time!!! 
I will be loaned a portable charger thingy for my battery later today, so I should be able to get it up and going. It helps that I don’t have to leave for work tomorrow until nearly 11 so hopefully it will be above zero at that point as well.
No home should be without a portable charger thingy snowbunny. I trust you have learnt your lesson.
Soup and cornbread were nummy. Just the thing on a coldish day.
I’s feelin’ sleepified. Soup does that to me. I get all warmed up on the inside and want to sleep.
I should have a pair of jumper cables too but I don’t. Nyah nyah.
Well, I improvised by covering a cake circle with foil. It was a little bit too small, but hopefully it will work ok.
I was thinking about you, snowbunny, when I went out to start my 15 year old Saturn this evening. Fortunately it started since I got a new battery a month ago. And, it also isn’t -11 here, either.
Giiiirrrrl, you are just tempting fate. You should have left the “nyah, nyah” off, because now you’re gonna need ‘em. Just sayin’, is all.
Well the training wasn’t bad. In fact it was entertaining. Best training I’ve ever attended. Did I post that earlier? Seems familiar, but I don’t see it, so maybe it got eaten. <SHRUG>
Stops to make on my way home tonight, gas, prezzie for white elephant, and bank. It’s still frakkin’ cold out.

Hey all! It is -almost- Firday (woo hoo!) so at least there is that to be thankful for … right? 
I made it through both ultrasounds okay … although I kept finding spots of that darn gel later on. Thyroid pics will go to the endocrinologist and the girly bits pics to my GYN. Let’s just hope that I won’t be getting any phone calls from either of them. Although I already got a call from the endo early this morning–upping my thyroid from 225 mcg to 250 mcg/day. :eek: I know gotti takes a high dosage too … hope things are going okay for him and his DH; I’m guessing they’re moving right now.
Positive and healing thoughts being sent to all who would like them. It’s hard to believe but two weeks from tonight is Christmas Eve!

I just got home from a painfully long day. I just ate the nummiest dinner: braised short ribs and sauce over coucous. Yummmmmmm
Maybe it needs less ‘ho’ and more OH NO. The damn things fell apart when I unrolled them from the towels. Completely destroyed. I’ve taken the remnants of one of them and layered it with the filling in an angel food pan and I’m going to freeze it and hope for the best in the morning. The kitchen is a disaster, I’m aggravated, and the cake is a freaking mess. Bah Humbug. :mad:
Arrrgh! But it almost started. Almost. I did just get a $12 gift card for the local grocery store from the property manager, which I believe I will spend on a bottle of wine once I get the damn car started again to celebrate!
Otherwise…not much happening, it’s too cold for anything to happen. They still say it’s going to warm up Saturday. We’ll…see.
I’m pissed at the Uni. If people living on campus are not allowed to use the only internet service that’s available on campus for personal purposes, it should be made clear from the start.
Can’t WoW, can’t RoM, can’t Skype… bloody hell, I don’t have ANY schoolwork and my 96yo grandmother just had cancer surgery and I’m not allowed to use Skype? “inappropiate use of shared facilities”? My room is a SHARED facility? Am I to expect a farmer’s market to be set up on top of my desk one of these days?
