I have found that the printers/scanners/copiers/juicers combos break rather quickly. The manufacturers realize that when their customer gets to the printer store, s/he is going to see printers that are less expensive. “Gee, do I really need to scan, copy and make orange juice?” So, they scrimp on things to save money an get closer in price to a regular printer. MIL (v.3.0) had one, and it spit a gear out the paper feed once. THe ones I’ve dealt with at work screw up often. My previous boss was bragging about his just before it spit a scan out at an angle. Most of the printers at work will connect to a mac. Wireless printers in my experience lose their connection right before you need to print something very important. YUMV.
On edit: You can by a networked printer. They also come wireless, btw.
Mrs. Plant (v.2.0) kept the butter out to soften it, despite my swearing up and down that I saw tiny foot prints in it.
I can hear the Missouri Pacific roundhouse. We regularly hear trains and the hump yard, but I’ve not noticed the round house previously. Drove me nuts until I found out what it was.

Why don’t you just melt a little butter in the pan, and not worry about buttering the bread? That’s how I made toasted cheese sandwiches. I never butter the bread. I just melt a small knob of butter in the pan, and lay the sandwich in it. Easy peasy!

No idea if you’ll have any input in the selection process, but I’ve had a Canon color laser for the past two or three years that ticks all of those boxes, plus the mega-box of being a laser, rather than a stinkjet, so there’s nothing to clog, no wasting $15 of ink at a time on “cleaning” or the other usual hassles of ink. It speaks Bonjour, so visiting iPads can print to it, assuming I’ve let them onto my wifi.
Did I miss an ad in the paper that bank wires were on sale? I’ve done almost nothing today except set up people with access to various wires systems. Wonder if it’s for troubleshooting missing or delayed stimulus payments? Or maybe something for funding SBA loans? Whatever it is, the request volume is unusual.
There are $200.00 B&W laser printers. Beats the hell out of ink jets.

Howdy Y’all! This afternoon we managed to accomplish nappage and the ingestion of majik intartoobz pizza and sallit. Don’t know how we keep up such a pace! Netflix got watched as well. With this level of activity I may need to go to bed early. 
Friday night. It is a bit rainy out, and the day was tedious. The Governor announced today an easing of the restrictions starting a week from Monday. Maybe we are on the road back to a new normal. We will see, but as for tonight: Let us drink wine

Evening all. Not much accomplished this afternoon outside of solving the Sudoku’s and Jumbles on the comic pages of the paper. Need to get to Best Buy tomorrow to pick up stuff they told me they have ready. No masks again, will call amazon Moanday and get my money back.

Obtained groceries, was able to get the items that were out of stock at Walmart over at FoodsCo. Also had Taco Bell for dinner (DH really wanted it).
Near-future:
try the recipe for a clone of Taco Bell red sauce, since DH would really like facsimile pintos & cheese
tackle a different set of instructions for fabric mask, hoping for a more comfortable result
usual weekend “get the place at least sanitary” mine-out

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 57 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 86 and N.O.S. for the day. I have no idea why I am up this early. Woke up to pee and just did not want to go back to bed. This will most likely mean nappage later. No plans at all for the day, except I do need to straighten up the master bedroom closet as it has gotten unruly again. Sup shall be steaks, baked N.O.T., bacon wrapped spare guts, sallit, and either rolls or cheesey garlic bread. We eat good if nuttin’ else.

Up, showered and dressed, tended to critters, fed myself, and set up Roxy with Word Party on Netflix. She’ll need breakfast soon, and I should probably change her diaper.
I’ve got 2 quarts of strawberries that need to be hulled and sliced. I pulled a big hunk o’poke out of the freezer - I think it’s going to be slow-cooked and pulled, probably tomorrow. As for tonight, dunno if I’ll cook or leave everyone on their own. I’d love a Red Robin wedge salad, but it’s a 30+ mile round trip to get one and I don’t think I want one that badly. We shall see.
I’ve been trying to brush Ziva - she’s started to get matted again on her back left side (where she lies most of the time.) She won’t let me pick her up, so I have to let her come to me for skritches, and sneak in some brushing then. Taz, on the other hand, loved being brushed. Poor old man is starting to show his age (14-15) - he’s starting to lose weight and we can tell he has a hard time jumping up sometimes.
It’s overcast - no idea what the day holds. It’ll happen as it happens.

Morning all. Just sent a note to Amazon (or rather their supplier) asking about stuff I ordered 3 weeks ago. We’ll see how responsive they are.
Off to Best Buy in about 3 hours (they don’t open until 10am), so I’ll scrounge something to nibble on here and wait till I’m out to pick up something more substantial.
Like swampy, my bladder woke me early, so nappage is a definite possibility.
