How do they make me crafty? When I have to sit for a while in public I take a piece along. This effectively disguises me as an innocuous and mild-mannered human-being. Heh.

Well, I’m finally home from tons of grocery shopping in way too much heat. Ugh. Now I wonder what’s for dinner. 
Laughter is the best medicine! Hee hee.
Buns - I know, right? I think because it was a holiday weekend. I wasn’t there, Mr Rebo took him. We still haven’t heard from the investigator, either.
Dinner tonight is shrimp stir-fry and fried rice.
Poor Dipsey. I mean we all know what he’ll do if and when he can get out again. I just keep hopin’ he shows back up Rebo. Poor little fella. He knows where his real home is.
We et up the rest of the ribs, bbq and stew. YUM!
Ima smoke some chicken boobs and thighs tomorrow. Should be good. OYKW is gonna go visit ye olde homeplace over the weekend. He’s takin’ off Firday mornin’ and comin’ back on Monday so I’m figurin’ on smoked chicken for da bear to munch on over the weekend as well. I may run up to ye olde hometowne and check on mom and sis myself. Haven’t decided yet.

Hope the job works out, swampy, even if it’s not a thrill. At least you can hope they won’t ask you to do anything unethical.

It’s outdoor concert Tuesday, so I’ma eat something, do a little pruning and clean-up in the garden (if there’s time) and then head over to the concert.

Yeah, I’m in FL. I’m actually moving closer to the tip of America’s Penis soon, where it’s a bit more humid and tropical. I’m looking forward to being close to the beach again. Hopefully I can indulge in some sandy toes days before the oil gets to my new neck of the woods.

I made a batch of m&m cookies. I have no idea why. I just did. They are good.
The good news: The Foomobile once again moves forward under its own power.
The bad news: $1415.
The so-so news: that tab includes the $125 it cost to tow the car and my fat ass 50 miles from Chesapeake to the Wrench’s shop.
Glad the Foomobile is functional again, but, yeah, ouch.
I miss FCM. How long is her vacation? (And why isn’t she posting from there??? )

Well, at least there’s only three more days to go this week! LOL I only wish the heat would tune down a bit–this is entirely too damn hot!
I bought a Shark steam mop today. It rocks!!! No scrubbing on my hands and knees! Thanks for the recommendation, Swampy. I hope the interview went well.

Welcome, Kite. Sadly I can’t look at pics from work.
Good first bullrun, there may have been one guy stepped on by the bulls; there was one who didn’t die because God has a soft spot for morons (he fell down and stayed on all fours while the bulls ran by), and another one whose T-shirt now sports two lovely horn-bored holes but it was only the T, he didn’t get a scratch. I imagine that shirt will get framed and put on a wall.

We have had an exciting morning here, the fire alarms went off for a full evacuation at 9am just as I got to the office. We hung around outside for 20mins before the security people decided the building wasn’t burning down and let us back in. Then a couple of minutes later, the alarms went off again so we ended up outside for another 15mins. Turns out someone has been using an aerosol in the building and, because it mimics smoke particles, the alarms went crazy.
I have a team meeting in 15mins too so I get to go outside yet again! I’m having a cup of tea first though.
