Yay for Saturday! Lucy decided that since Mr Rebo had to go in at the asscrack of dawn, I must be ready to get out of bed and feed her. I was rudely awakened with a huge sloppy dog kiss. Well, I was already kinda awake, but that sealed the deal.
So I’m up and caffeinating, with nothing planned to do today. Ahhhh!

ETA: Also my stomach hurts, I’m sure it’s related to all the new drugs hitting my system, but dammit, if I want to make my tooth stop hurting, I’ve got to endure the stomach pain. :rolleyes: I’m so old and creaky!

I’m posting from my phone this morning since TVMan’s network doesn’t want to let me on. Maybe it’s retribution because TVMan is still somewhat on The List this morning. He just informed me last night that CPex will be in town in two weeks. I can’t wait to find out what activities that they have planned to which I am not invited. :rolleyes: although he has been talking to her significantly less lately it still bothers me that my opinion counts for ZERO where she is concerned.
Oh well. More later, hopefully from a real computer where I can type more easily.

donkeybear and gotti this is especially for y’all. The neighbors are havin’ some new siding put on their house and there are two really hot bears doin’ the work. They’re standin’ on ladders and climbin’ on the roof so from my back porch I have a good view of two very hairy shirtless sweaty burly men with big arms. :: DROOL :: Ol y’all know who and I are highly ummmm… entertained.

I had one of those once. She pitched a fit and went to my supervisor because “her daddy taught HS English and he said all her papers were good enough for an A so she should have gotten an A instead of a B.”
Strangely enough, the people who got a C, D, or F for the class did not complain about their grades. Only the ones who got Bs.
Meh. I am blah, gray, dial tone today. It’s gray out and HUMID and rainy. Not a day to go downtown. I’ll go tomorrow–but do what? It has to be cheap, folks.
I’d like to go to the Art Institute, but I worry about my bone spur there–lots of “idle walking” and standing, which makes the foot/leg hurt and makes my varicose vein in the other leg hurt as well. Sorry to bore you with my trivial aches and pains. Getting old sucks.

I’ve got to say, it’s very weird walking out to my garage and not seeing the boat there. It’s beautiful today, it would have been a perfect day for playing on it. Hopefully, the buyer is making good use of it.
I feel like I could have slept some more, but my back was killing me, so I decided to get up.

I did have something else to relate, after all.
A Del Taco just opened by my house. It’s only been open a couple of days. I’ve heard raves about this place from other folks that have eaten at Del Tacos in California, so I thought I’d give the place a try last night.
Well, the line for the drive through was snaking through the whole parking lot, so I thought I’d go inside and order that way. I stood in line for 25 minutes; yes, that’s right, 25 minutes. I finally got up to the cashier to order and was told their computers were down. At this point they announced it throughout the whole store. They told us the computers probably wouldn’t be up for at least another hour and that we were welcome to wait if we wanted. Yeah…right. I’m not going to wait that long.
So, we ended up having Herfy’s for dinner. It was good, but damn, I really wanted to try something new.
Morning, all. Nothing much here to report today; the Idiots got to go for a swim this morning, and that’s been the highlight of the day thus far.
I guess if anything happens, I shall report back in. I’m kind of hoping nothing does; I’ve got lots to do today and don’t need and eventful life on top of it.

Lunch break - just had a 'mater sammich - yum!
We pulled the 8-3 w/Grd from the house breaker box to the garage where the shop breaker box will be installed. We also pulled the TV cable for the bedroom and the living room. We still need to do the Cat 5 for the nook, but that can come later. Next step is to clean and organize, than start putting the bathroom together. Some sheetrock will go up today. FINALLY!!
