It was a bleak week in the valleys.

But in the hills, it was sunny and warm

Wlch ylch aargh ybsy cwm dirty weekend, look you.

And why does this thread have more posts than the perfectly sensible thread on Excel commands I started in GQ yesterday, I’d like to know.

Because obscure rainfall statistics are far more interesting than Excel commands.

(Well, it’s true, isn’t it?)

Snow,Snow willit never stop snowing?

I thought they were the same thing.

I’ll start: I say, it was a week where you needed your brolly and your Wellies.

Anyone actually locate said statistics? The weather is observed at Mumbles, apparently. :stuck_out_tongue:

It always rains in Wales, except when it stops.
There are many reservoirs.

Here is a cute graph:

I see - the Met says that the coast gets 1000 mm a year average.
Are you all issued umbrellas at birth?

Might be why Welsh speakers sound like they’re going to spit at any moment. Very wet sounding language.

Is the Harp the Welsh instrument of choice because it has water resistant properties?

Ah yes, I remember it well. I had the duck. It was moist like the weather.
They asked me never to return.

When you mumble in the Welsh language it makes it almost comprehensible .

But only if you speak Welsh and are slightly deaf.
