Had a fine simple dinner and yak with SIL & her kids last night. Then she was off to late night services while we heathens yakked forth.

Up at 6 today; had the house open overnight and it got a bit warm & still for sleeping around 2. As I said I’ve managed to palm off the cooking to SIL & kids this time. It sounds like they’re whipping up quite a feast. I just have to set up the larger table, etc., some time before noon. And go pick up Aged MIL from her senior apartment. With luck she’ll be TIA free. With Muvver we thought it was a heart attack and it was sorta. But with the dementia setting in/becoming more pronounced she ended up never coming home from that one. 
It was a long time for us but like a lot of other bad things the holidays bring it all back. Hugs your way kiddo.
