A Foolish April MMP

Happy Thorsday!

It’s a wet cloudy 50 degrees and is supposed to get up to 63.
It mush have rained overnight, everything was wet when I put Sah-dog out.

I didn’t get laundry done yesterday. I’ll try to do some today.
My mother and her bf came back from the ocean last night. I hope they aren’t arguing. The tension is so bad in this house even they have been arguing a lot.
Yesterday my mother told me to take my time leaving because the HFH informed her they are not leaving until they sell their rental house. Of course after they sell the rental then they will say they are not moving until they find another house. He still doesn’t have a job.
My mother is so angry but she won’t tell them to just leave. Every time she looks in the living room at all the boxes piled up you can just see the anger. Then the male half of the HFH had the nerve to ask her to make room for some of his clothes in the basement closet. My mother told him to go get a storage unit. I know she knows if I leave first she will never get them out, because then they will take over the entire upstairs and really settle in. For two people who constantly brag about how much money they have you’d wonder why they would want to live in a small bedroom with three dogs.
Doesn’t matter, I’m still continuing with what I’m doing.
My offer hasn’t been accepted or rejected, so still up in the air and to tell the truth I’m just not going to worry about it.

You go Jim Did you get a little compensation for sharing info with the repo man?
Yay** Herbs**
I agree with Swampy, Spidey next time whistle.

I’m going to try to get some laundry done today. Other than that just irk irk irk, my last few paychecks have been lower than usual and it’s time to get the income back up to where it needs to be.

**sari **- love the house! It’s really cute. Hope it all comes together.

Looks like a lot of us had bad nights, sleep-wise. I feel like I kept waking every couple of hours - partly because of the idiot cat. I didn’t want him peeing on me again. We did drag ourselves to the gym, but it was a short workout day. I just want to go back to bed… I’ll probably mess around in my studio today - it’s been raining, so it’s not conducive to working outside. Plus I’m tired - at least I can do claying while seated.

**Jim **- I know I wouldn’t want you pissed off at me! Get them buttheads!!!

I’m sure there was more I wanted to say, but my brain is mush at the moment. Happy Thursday anyway. blech.

Jim, get your bike back?

Sari appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed re the house.

I’m on a conference call. ICK! I’m sorta listenin’ even. Really. I even chime in when I’m supposed to do so.

Ok, back to actually payin’ attention. Sigh.

** FCM** I’m afraid to get my hopes up but I like it.
The only things I don’t like are the stairs which curve in the middle and have triangular shaped treads and the counter top on the island is ugly fake stone.
The way the house is laid out though I can make the living room into my bedroom and I’d never have to go upstairs. There’s a full bath on both floors so Sah-son could have the whole second floor to himself.

Mawnin Mumpers

Mr. and Ms. Meth found another place to stay last night, I shall actively discourage their return. They went quietly. I will have to patrol the pawn shops for my bicycle, no big deal.

Sari, house is teh cute, hope it works out.

Need coffee, more coffee

Jim

Good morning everyone!

Cap’n I’m a big fan of security camera systems. The Night Owl series can be had for as low as $300 for a 4 camera system. They can be accessed remotely from any computer.

That’s how I knew who took my pickup from my house last year within minutes of it happening.

Especially if you travel a lot it can be a nice security blanket.

In other news we’ve had a couple scares for long distance travel. One of the big reasons we went to GA with the VATF1 has been to be trusted enough to join them the next time a big event happens. A week later there’s been 2 major earthquakes in Chile.

Fortunately they have not been needed. I was scrambling Tuesday night contacting my doctor for vaccines (if we were to go).

They did send a crew of 3 K9 handlers with HR (Human Remains) dogs to Washington State today to help with the mudslides. We did a story on that last night.

Otherwise it appears I am having too much fun adding links to my posting…

I am out and about!!! I’m still getting used to the chair and the car, and in a few hours, I’ll have a new thing to get used to as well - a motorized lift on the back of the CR-V for transporting the chair. Then, I have a doctor’s appointment and later this evening, I’m going to chorus. Tonight is the dress rehearsal for competition. I’m not going with them to that, so I get to see them all tonight.

Somewhere, somehow ------- we just gotta be related. Is your family motto “Don’t get mad — get ahead” too?

No call from the shed mover. He didn’t come yesterday because he said he had brake problems on his truck. He hoped to come today. He hasn’t.

I am not impressed.

I knew we were related when you Amishified your motorcycle. Our branch of the fam has a similar motto but it is the version that cannot be posted on a “family” message board.

Jim

Mooommm, give him the address of your neighbor two doors down. He’ll try to stop there but keep right on going & finally coast to a stop at the foot of your driveway.

YAY! Rosie!

So I won’t know anything until Moonday at the earliest. There are other offers on the house and they are accepting offers until noon on Moonday. Then they will let everybody know.

My mother came home from the ocean early because her bf has some health issues and the doctor called and told him it couldn’t wait. They are spending the tonight at the hospital for him to go through some tests tomorrow. My mother wasn’t supposed to tell anybody but she did and now I am.

I started a few little rumors to test the theory that the HFH are listening in on things. What I said should be enough to cause an uproar so we shall see what comes of it.

Hey Sari,

$15.69 buys a wireless microphone detector from Amazon…

Just saying.

OH!!! Thank You!!!
I read up on how to find bugs in a house and I’ve been waiting for a chance to do the first part, which involves taking off all the switch plates and outlet covers and looking inside.
I am going to look into this.

I just finished the bottoms of 6 spoon rests and 3 ash trays. I killed the 4th ashtray - there was a section of the bottom that was way too thin. I’ll throw another tomorrow.

I also tidied up one of my monsters and brought 3 pieces out to dry. Everything else is back in the damp cabinet.

I did hear from the shed guy - still hasn’t gotten his brakes fixed. We’ll see if he shows tomorrow. I doubt that I’d recommend him to anyone - we’ll see how he does with the base and the move.

We skipped lunch. What to do for supper?? hmmmmmmm

Maybe, eat something? :dubious:

Food perhaps?

You guys are *sooooooo *not helpful! :stuck_out_tongue:

As frustrated as my poor sweetie is, we might just go out tonight. He was almost done with the art work on the top of his fuel tank when his airbrush spit white paint all over the place. There was no way to clean all the spots up without messing up the artwork, so he had to sand it all down and start again. He is not happy… But an artist must suffer, right?

I had a house mate at my first job back in 1989 in Salisbury. He was a guitar player and often quite miserable. One day as he was wallowing in sorrow and sadness he complained to me about it, to which I replied:

“All the great artists are fucked up and miserable. It’s what drives them to creativity.”

You could see the light go off in his head, and after that he became the ‘happiest miserable person’ you could find. He was still miserable, but he embraced it as his salvation.

So there’s that.
