'im indoors had a culinary mishap last night. He was making Chinese curry but picked up the wrong tub of curry paste. Thus we ended up with chicken madras and egg-fried rice. Strange combination but it tasted ok and it got et.
Nothing else of any remote excitement happened, perhaps today will be different. I have to get to grips with exam arrangements for my special snowflakes as they will be hassling me for room bookings and stuff. I expect to be thoroughly irked later, but at least it’s pub night tonight.
Nothing like starting the day with a cat peeing on you! :eek: I have no idea what Taz was thinking, but he’s lucky he moved faster than I could grab him, because he’d be hanging from the ceiling fan right now. Idiot cat! He’s also lucky that he just got the bedspread. The blanket and sheets are all unscathed, and the spread is in the washer right now. Stoopit feline.

Last night, there were threats of rain for the next 3 days. Now it’s just turned to forecasts of lots of clouds, so yay for that anyway. I’m going to have a little gardening time today after it warms a bit. And I may fillet that cat yet - I just now caught him unrolling a small ball of yarn. I am not amused…

Most of that is on two lane roads and loooooooooong. However, I am headin’ out from da cave at seven-thirty to the first place. If all goes well, I should be at the second place by nine-fifteen, the third place by ten-thirty and at the orifice by noon. We shall see.
Ok, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification for a long mornin’ of ride, ride, ride, must commence.

It’s raining here. We’re forecast to get around 4" by Friday. At least it’s not snow. But, instead of a sled, I’ll probably need a boat. The dog yard is already a mud pit. I will be occupied with floor cleaning from now, until Deity only knows when, because the mud that will be tracked inside is going to be monumental, I’m sure.
FCM, it sounds like Taz thought you should be up, and moving, so he decided, in his little, bent mind, that peeing on you was the best way to get that to happen! If we really knew what was going through a cat’s mind, it would probably scare the hell out of us. :dubious:

I’s starting to get excited. VunderKind and FDiL are coming Sunday for a visit. Much fishing is planned.
One freshly washed bedspread is out on the clotheslines. I have it draped across 3 lines to (I hope) expedite drying. Turns out we made the lines exactly long enough for a king size spread. Go us!! 
Meanwhile, Taz and Higgs are curled up in bed with FCD. Why would the idiot cat pee on the bed, then go sleep in there? He’s insane!!
Stupid? Does Higgs even know what month it is? 
Higgs knows what “cookie” means - not the computer term, the dog treat term.
Mooom, no there’s no scandalous story there. In fact it’s been fairly quiet on the domestic front, I’m keeping him busy decorating, every day I marvel at the amount of paint that ends up in places other than on the wood where it was meant to go…

It feels like Toosday, all my time/days have been off lately. Lat night at 10:30 I htought it should have been 6:30.
It’s cloudy out and looks miserable.
According to my phone it is 44 and the high will be 66.
Today will be pizza day and laundry day. Everybody except the male half of the HFH won’t be here and I’ll do what I want.
Last night I dreamed the HFH got smart with me and my response to him was to grab the butcher knife. Actually both HFH have been very quiet lately and keeping a low pro, he doesn’t want to leave so they are ‘being good’. I don’t know why he doesn’t want to leave, my mother says he is greedy, look at all the money they save by living here.
Funny how ever since mom told them to leave that the bathroom door doesn’t go squeaky squeaky squeaky every morning and the thundering herd no longer thunders, and the cabinet doors don’t go bang, bang, bang, and the metal dog food bowls stopped clanking, and the hounds don’t woo woo woo for their breakfast.
Thank y’all for all the crossed fingers and well wishes. I think there is going to be an issue with FHA financing but we are all working together so I haven’t lost hope. I do like this house but the FHA may have an issue with the condition of the roof - it looks old but there aren’t any missing, curling, damaged shingles and there may have been some freeze damage to the pipes.
I’m not getting my hopes up but I’m not giving up either.
Anybody have a bullet I can borrow (well it may be used if/when you get it back)?
