A Foot Cramp MMP

I didn’t get the orange and white, I got the grey tiger stripe.

So far he has let me pet him, rolled on the floor asking for a belly rub, is eating, drinking and using the litter box.

He still runs a little from Sah-son and Sah-dog, and he is very, very confused by the dog. Especially when the dog is moving his bed around.

I’m kind of excited, a normal cat!

But he won’t stand still long enough for me to get a picture.

Swampy - I think the name Tigger is okay, just not for me. Like Rosie says, the right name will come.

Night Of The Singing Dead tomorrow; that screwed us up for Hallo-Fun at Knoebels and Hershey for this weekend.

Party was terrific. Old Friend looked just like he did over 30 years ago ------- for which we shall all collectively hate him.

Cute kitty. Glad he’s more sociable than Percy.

It can take a few days for a cat to communicate who he is to new humans, so give it time. The right name will become known.

So much catching up to do!

Enjoy your cruise, MOOOOOM, party on Ruble, and you too, *Spidey ** (sounds like you earned a drink today!) Sari, I don’t know if it’s any help, but my last cat before my allergies got too awful was Weasel. He arrived pre-named, but it was a good name. And he was a good kitty. My roommate at the time had a cat named Ishtar - also a good name, but a nightmare of a cat! Rockin’, sorry about the gravity - that sucks! Glad you weren’t hurt too badly.

Have been ill for a couple of days - to the point where I lost my phone Wednesday, and didn’t care enough to look for it until today. Missed calls from my mom and my brother… I hope no one’s dead or something! (Seriously, I ignore calls from my mother about half the time. But my brother doesn’t telephone often, so I answer when he does. Also, I like my brother more. Possibly because he doesn’t call all the damned time.)

And Rosie? If it makes you feel better, I’ve blocked several toxic people on social media. Including my mother. I get into enough pointless political debates in real life. I don’t need to be goaded into arguing every time I check Facebook to catch up with my friends and family. (Mostly, I just “unfollow” people, so I can still see new grand babies and kitty pix when I choose, without seeing every tinfoil hat post in my daily feed.)

Big excitement at my house: organizing the pet food drive. Getting ready for homecoming - postponed due to the storm. Girl 2.0’s dress was perfect for an early October evening, but probably needs a wrap for early November. And she broke up with her boyfriend, so the New Date needs a tie to coordinate with the dress. Also, I’m a little discomfitted by the fact that New Date has a full beard. I know he’s barely 17, but he looks 25, and it’s weird.

Cooked pork ribs, baked N.O.T., broccoli, and biscuits for supper. And gotta go back to the grocery store in the morning - those ribs were fantastic, and on a great sale, plus cheese is on a weekend special for $2.00 a pound, and I’m in charge of the macaroni for my niece’s wedding reception Friday. And the big grocery store is discontinuing several frozen food items it seems, so I’ll go again in the morning to see what’s available. I went for milk last night, and came home with a ton of bargains on things that I don’t usually buy - Stouffer’s (healthier) dinners and Pillsbury frozen biscuits for fifty cents, breakfast bowls and burritos for a quarter, etc. If nothing else, I can always send items to feed The Boy and his roommates. Or help restock the food bank. I’m hoping I feel better tomorrow, so I can go stock shelves at the pantry, and maybe help reorganize the clothes closet at the foster family mission.

Big excitement, don’t you know!

*On preview: Sah-kitty has an IM on his head. Messenger. Messenger of the gods. Mercury? Freddie?

Hey! Just wait a darn minute! I’ve had a full beard since I was like 13 and I turned out OK! There is that odd explosion now and then over the years. Oh – and the motorcycles. And the guns. And the collection of meat cleavers. But other than that ------------

D’aaaawwww. He looks like Trouble.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :splort:
also, blurf.

Up, caffeibated, and sheveled.Probably working a double shift today.:frowning:

Kitty! Squeeeee!

**Peaches **, there used to be a Canes player who could go from clean shaven to full mountain man beard in a 6 hour plane flight. At age 18. YMMV

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 47 (BRRR!) Amurrkin out and mostly cloudy with a predicted high of 74 and mostly sunny for the day. A pleasant day indeed. This means I should do some yahd/outside stuff but don’t place any bets that I will. I foresee a mostly chill day for the both of us. The local kollege has homecomin’ today, so we shall avoid venturin’ out to do anything. I took some chili outta da freezer last night. I envision chili dawgs for N.O.L. I also envision grilled ham 'n cheese sammiches and oven fries for dindin.

Sari kitteh is a cutey! Glad he’s a more “normal” type than Percy. I’m sure he’ll warm up to Sah-son and Sah-dawg in time.

{{{Peaches}}} sorry you had the sick. Glad you’re feelin’ better. FWIW I started shavin’ a couple times a week at twelve and have a heavy beard, even though I didn’t grow one in high school.

OK, I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, I reckon I should purtify up a bit.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Happy Caturday, everyone! I have Dunkin Donuts and coffee. All may or may not be right with the world.

Breakfast at our favorite haunt (sorry) and then off to Night of the Singing Dead; the Daylight Edition.

Chili/cheese/onion/slawdawgs have been ingested. Fart fest to follow shortly.

FCM Bon Voyage!

Sari Cute kitteh! I shall think of names… Try buying some cat treats and keeping them in your pocket. Hand them out if he comes for scratches. It sounds very promising already. Not to worry about the orange cats and laps. I had one who had to be physically removed from mine whenever I needed to get up. Cats are all different.

Try a laser pointer on a wall and see if he’ll chase it. He sounds like he might …

I am being summoned. Hugs, condolences, feel betters, and Happy Weekends to all!

Home for launch, which has been consumed. Refereed two games starting at 0800 (temperature was 43F), and now am waiting to go to my teams’ game, about 1.5 hours from now (temp will be in the 60’s by then).

Don’t light a match.

Happy Saturday!

Although now I get to have Caturdays.

He has already settled in nicely, coming when called, and enjoying scritches. He has a very mellow personality. He’s still watchful of the dog, but even when he was running from him and my son it was run a few feet and turn around and watch. Unlike Percy who would go into a full tilt panic driven crash through the house. I am really happy with this cat.

It’s bright and sunny today - and also cold and windy.

I’m not sure what’s on the agenda. I woke up early, went back to sleep and slept until noon. I didn’t plan on being lazy today, but it looks like I’m going to be.

A nice slothful day at da cave. I have been no further than the mailbox down at the road. Nice! OYKW ventured to the deck and grilled the dawgs for N.O.L. That’s as far as he’s gone out. I like days like this.

Hooray for happy Caturdays!

I didn’t make it to volunteer today - tummy is still a little “iffy,” and I don’t want to risk starting a plague at the pantry or the clothes closet. Besides, my symptoms include so much gas that you’d think I’d lunched withSwampy! And I don’t want to scare off the other volunteers! [/TMI]

I did manage a brief trip to make groceries, though. Good bargains, so the freezers are all full again. And I was a good citizen - used sanitizing wipes on my cart after shopping, and on the PIN pad after I paid. New cashier today, who thought I was bonkers, but my favorite bagger reassured her that I’m mostly harmless. (Bagger also winked and grinned when I was telling the new cashier how to ring up all of my clearance items - “14 @ 50 cents, frozen foods, 6 @ 25 cents, dairy,” that sort of thing. I’ve never worked at a grocery store, but I know my way around one! And I swear that I’m going to adopt my favorite grocery bagger. He’s just the sweetest kid ever.)

Alex Catt has no intrest in catching The Red Dot.:dubious:
