A Happy Little Orange, the MMP

That is an excellent idea!

A common prank in college was to bake a blueberry pie laced with methylene blue, then sit back and laugh as people freaked over green pee.

And they would not have fungus or fin rot!

That was actually my first idea; however, with your going to FL, I didn’t know where to deliver it & I didn’t want a box sitting outside your house for fear burglars might realize you’re away.

**Spidey **- we’ve arranged for someone to bring in our mail when she comes to tend to the cats, so go right ahead!

Mom thinks of everything!

I have today off… in theory. I’ve been working on various things and household chores and such since fairly early this morning. I have to leave in about half an hour for a meeting, and who knows what after that.

Moooommmm, if I break my piggy bank, I can get you this; you can use it for cake or clay.

Um, I was thinking more in terms of Lindt truffles…

Car is packed, except for our clothes, since some are still on the lines. Must of the trunk is full of stuff we’re taking to our daughter. But we’ve got space in the back seat for our duffel bags and doggy stuff. So the rest of the afternoon will be mostly lazy.

Great news BBBobbio!

'Tis rainy/stormy/dreary here today. Then again, it was supposed to be all that so it ain’t like it’s a big surprise. A good day for ham 'n N.O.T. soup, which is on the menu for tonight. Also the reason I made extra cornbread yestiddy. Dindin will be heat ‘n eat. Did I mention I made soup yestiddy while I was hangin’ at da cave? No? Well, I did.

Ok, back to irk.

Laterz!

bobbio, that was great news from your [del]captors[/del] doctors before releasing you from the [del]mothership[/del] cliinc.

It was a dark and stormy night…

It was in between storms when I got off irk yesterday. My hospitalized neighbor texted me that he was being released and asked if I could pick him up (his daughter offered, but that meant being surrounded by her energetic kids). Got him home, fed and went over his med changes and watched BBT with him. All the while, it was storming up a storm.

I know a few of you have my cell number. Go ahead and get rid of it. My cell account expires today and I’m not renewing it. If you need to contact me, send me a message and I’ll share my “home” number with you. I put that in quotes because while it *was *our old landline number, it’s now assigned to my cell. So the number that ended in 7374 is no longer valid.

You may now resume the MMP.

The only reason I don’t suspect Ruble of this is that it happened in St. Paul, MN instead of Pittsboigh.

I just looked, and I had your old number for your office…

Yeah, BBBobbio, that office number isn’t valid either - in fact, we hear the company is in trouble. Between layoffs, furloughs, and people quitting, plus a lack of contracts coming their way…

Witness Protection Program?
More happened on the boat than we know about? :dubious:

I would have thought Georgia instead of Minnesota.

I wonder if someone online has a map of local chunkin’ - sling - toss events? Google was not my friend. Lots of events, no over-arching map. Maybe next year.

Can I get a Hallelujah? We have a substantially completed bathroom. With a door! Just some touch up painting, some arranging, and (later) some curtain installation to go. There’s something that looks almost like curains there, now, but we’ll have actual curtains later.

I almost forgot the best part. The door has a latch and can be locked! I won’t admit how many years it’s been that dogs feeling lonely could lean their way in to check up on occupants. Now they can’t. I feel fancy.

If I wanted to, I COULD close HFM out of the bathroom when she feels that I require feline monitoring. I could also listen to claws raking the door, accompanied by outraged Siamese howls. Leaving the door ajar is easier on everyone.
