Forgot to report: Sweetie got his blood results back. His good and bad cholesterol are down even more than last time (bad is at 105!!). Thyroid is stable (finally). Blood clotting tests are all negative.
In other words, they still have no clue at all why he clots too much. The good news though is that they said the 325 mg of Aspirin per day is working so he doesn’t have to go back on Warfarin. YAY!!
That’s just awesome. I’ll bet she’s hoot.
Hey, it’s after midnight. So, mundane and pointless things you’re thankful for? Nothing big, just the small stuff. I’ll start:
I’m thankful that today my arm finally no longer hurts where I got my flu shot Saturday. And that the university released us at noon with pay…I was supposed to work until two, so two hours of pay for nothing is nice

Chipotle sweet N.O.T’s all done: likewise butternut pie omnomnomnom… (like pumpkin, but richer flavor) turkey is in the brine, cornbread crumbles drying in oven. All else waits for the morrow. Also, I discovered that the can of cranberry jelly I have is actually cran-raspberry, but I am NOT going to the store if I can help it. Passed my Yoga final. Mom tomorrow, too. Yay! zzzzz…

Good morning, and Happy Thanksgiving to all youse American Mumpers! BBBobbio, I love that video!! Altho I do have to disagree with her - I have had good turkey, and I’ve even made good turkey, but I’ve also had awful turkey, so she’s partly right.
In case I forgot to say it, *Huzzah *and *WAHOO *for all the good news on the health/medical fronts!! Take care of yourselves and don’t let any important parts fall off!
I’m up early thanks to the stoopit dog, but I’m also pretty well rested. I’ve emptied and refilled the dishwasher, cleaned the cat box, tidied a bit, and had a quick breakfast of leftover pizza. My friend Valerie will be here about 10, so before then, I need to shower, empty some stuff out of the car, fill the gas tank, put some stuff for my mom in the car, and tidy a but more. **FCD **is still sleeping - I can’t wait till he gets his back fixed so he can sleep without tons of painkillers - that doesn’t make for a restful sleep.
Daughter is coming over tomorrow to get her Christmas tree and stuff out of the attic. I need to decide what to do about my Christmas tree and stuff - I haven’t decorated in at least 8 years and I can’t see myself bothering with it any time in the near future. I may go thru the boxes, pull out the few items that are really personal, and yardsale the rest. bah, humbug. 
Well, this isn’t getting my tidying done. So those of you having your traditional pig-outs today, enjoy, and try not to overdo too much. And the rest of you, have a turkey sammich - you can pretend.
Last but not least, I’m thankful to have all of you in my life - even **swampy **

I can only assume that Mumpers are either sleeping or madly busy in the kitchen. I’ve finished tidying, I’ve cleared out the car, filled the tank, and loaded the afghans and other things (except for the pies) that have to go to Mom’s. Just waiting for Val to show up and we’ll be on our way.
Hope I-95 north of Baltimore isn’t too insane…

I overslept, damn it, and I forgot to take my sausage out of the freezer. I now have to defrost it in the microwave before I fry it up for the stuffing. Oh well.
