It’s a cold 27 degrees outside with a high of 32 predicted. Supposed to snow but haven’t seen anything yet.
I slept in until almost 9.
As soon as I came downstairs my son wanted to know if I would make breakfast, eggs and toast. Ripple is so funny, he knows I’m cooking and leaves me alone until just about one minute before they are done. Then he comes and sits next to me, his tail wagging, because he knows he gets eggs and toast too. I guess he can tell by the smell.
I’m sorry about your uncle, Red. We didn’t take up Ripple’s food, I didn’t even think about the cat getting into it. It probably would have been better to put the cat’s food down. Ripple would have inhaled it and licked the bowl clean.
Went to our favorite dive for breakfast and am now just chilling. I had hash, eggs over easy, hashbrowns and if you listen very carefully you can hear the sound of my arteries hardening.
I think the problem with my firestick is not the firestick but the distance it is from the router. That could explain why the firestick works perfectly as it is right next to the router, while the one upstairs is a floor up and a diagonally across the room. I guess I will be shifting something somewhere, I just don’t know what is going to shift yet.
I suppose now that the dishes are done, I should start the laundry.
Akiko pup took the treat I gave her and ran downstairs to eat it “with” hubby. So now I have all 3 cats in my room, because I left the door open for her to come back. Fortunately, I like my cats.

Today is ~50 degrees Amurkin and cloudy. Same for tomorrow and then rain all week. I see that my old home, Columbia MO, got about a foot of snow. I’m sorry to have missed it.
Great minds think alike, or something. Wifey wanted split pea soup Thursday too. Fortunately we had a big ham bone and some ham scraps in the freezer, so she made a huge pot-o-soup. She took a bunch of it to work yesterday and there’s still a little bit in the fridge. T’was good.

Howdy Y’all! I took care of candle duty and then went to :eek:Wally*Jr:eek: for a few items. We et an early sup just cause and because we did not eat N.O.L. I took some ham chunks outta da freezer. In a while I shall make ham, N,O,T, and carrot soup for tomorrow and to eat on durin’ the week for N.O.L. No rain yet but looks rainyish out. I’m sure it’ll be comin’ in tonight.
I had my hairs colored this morning. Hubby made it back to his friend’s house near Orlando. He will be home tomorrow by 2 ish depending on what time he gets started.
I have been binge watching The Crown on Netflix this afternoon. I need to figure out supper pretty soon. I also need to make a trip to the grocery store but that will not happen today.
Our little cold snap is over though I think there is another front coming through the beginning of the week.
It started snowing around 6-ish. We could get as much as 9-10" by tomorrow night. I’m so excited…
Supper was ribs that I found in the bottom of the freezer. I had considered getting groceries tomorrow, but I’m not going out in the snow. I’ll let the road crews do their jobs without me in the way. I can go Moanday.
We got snow, not very much.

I tried sitting outside for a bit today but it was too chilly to stay out long.
I think I have the firestick upstairs working, but I won’t know until I let it run for a while.
Two loads of laundry partially done. They are hanging on the drying rack in the kitchen. I didn’t get near as much done as I had hoped, Ripple has been a total pest today. He wants to play but he can’t make up his mind how he wants to play.
Groceries are bought, but I had to go to Staples for the TP (they send a $10 coupon every couple of months making good TP pretty cheap). That’s in teh recreational shopping area of town and on on a rainy weekend day, traffic was ugly.
I made Monterrey chicken, rice and green beans for supper. Now it’s time to kick back with the paints to relax.
dinner was somewhat edible
its supposed to rain again ….I didn’t know it rained last night until the cat tried to open the door… monsoon season isn’t until next month if we have one ……
going to bed in a few and if this mornings crap repeats its self tomorrow… well aunt will kill cousin ……
