A journey thru the MMP

Almost too easy.

Often. We have a habit of one bigger blow-out vacation every year. As a result I’ve found ways of doing a lot of minis on the cheap to basically keep what little sanity I have. It isn’t for everyone but its worked well for me.

But it was too late. She’d already got a free shot.
Grandstandin’, right there in front of the home team.
Heading to work shortly. With the low volume yesterday and the additional dusting overnight I have no idea what adventures await me in Da Jungle. Could be a fun night if its terrible enough.

It was too late: She’d already been mooned. Flashed her right there in front of
the shock absorbers.
Spent some time on the phone this morning and customer service was actually…quite good. Got the credit card account that was hacked several weeks ago closed for good, cancelled the renewal of Sirius XM on the car I’m trading in, and hotels.com and American Airlines both found my records quickly and sent the info in an e-mail promptly. Extra mention for American; the recorded voice said I could hold on the line for 25 minutes or so or leave a number and they would call me back in that time period–so I left a number and 25 minutes later..they called. So good on them.

And made sure to archive and print the records this time.

Blurf My OCD will not let me post most times until i have read the entire thread so now i am caught up.

In no particular order Baker Prayers for Nathan always. I too love my dog more than myself. His cancer episode was 20 months ago and at that time i was offered chemo, radiation at $7 grand or the option to do nothing. I chose to do nothing but pray and almost 2 years later nada. Boy is going t be 11 in May. He is not his usual perky self all the the time but is not in pain. I have an appt today to get his nails trimmed. he will act as though he is getting a Gordie bath. He yelps and cries before they ever touch him.

MetalMouse 378F must be a record.

I want snow. I have never seen more than a few inches of real snow. Tonights low will be a chilly 59F :eek::eek: A/c and heat in the same day.

Gotti Hooray on home ownership.

Feel better all sickies including the Rockins’ and Dazes and any I missed.

My day yesterday was a running around day. I have over 60 vendors and adding new ones all the time. I was planning a day off yesterday but old grouchy clerk, we’ll call her Judy said we need rack cards (brochures) so lead clerk did the running in while I drove and illegally parked to procure the collateral. This town is tooo f’ing crowded. There were two cruise ships in port and I now know why I don’t venture downtown too often. We did get most of what we were after and had a nice leisurely lunch at an excellent oceanside place that was to die for. Spring breakers please leave. Also a pile of motorcyclists have descended post Daytona.

i have started the budget which is due 31MAR.

I have not yet adjusted to the time change. Only good thing so far is no driving in the dark if I stay until closing which is 1800.

I am so sleepy right now. Leaving in an hour. Be save and warm and “Beware the Ides of March”.

boobiooo I looked.

Ethel and I are so proud - we knew youse guys wouldn’t let us down!

I tried to make “fast” steel cut oats for lunch. Still wayyyyy too crunchy for me. I like them creamy with just a hint of crunch. Think I’ll pull out my slow cooker and do a batch for brekkie tomorrow. Get it done right that way.

Child with fever is remarkably active once I put some Advil into him. Tempting not to. Never sure what the right course of action is there, TBH.

I survived another round with the disability folks and am signed off for another 3 months.

Got to go see what little dog is barking about. Might just be lonely.

ETA: Delivery truck. Or invisible gnomes. Or both.

Those damned invisible mole people that Dogbutt keeps rambling on about, I’ll warrant. :dubious:

Everything snowed in. Rehearsal cancelled tonight. More time to work on practicing by myself, I suppose.*

*If that’s what they’re calling it these days… :stuck_out_tongue:

Butters why on earth would anybody ever want to see snow. :stuck_out_tongue: Snow just ain’t my thing at all. Icky stuff!

I just et some popcorn so I would not waste away before soup 'n sammich time.

Snow is quite nice to visit, and a pain to live with. Butters you should plan a trip to visit a snowy place to play at least once. It’s fun to be a kid with the stuff, when you don’t have to worry about how you’re going to get the car out of the driveway. There are some lovely lodges I could recommend if’n you want to come my way. Spend the time drinking hot cocoa/other stuff, watching the mountains, play in the snow. It’ll be fun!

I picked up my new specs and dropped off all the old ones. Soup and fresh baked crescent rolls for supper. That pretty much sums up my evening plans.

NPR mentioned that blueberries, one of Georgia’s main fruit crops, are in danger from the unseasonably cold weather.

**FCD **just got a text on his phone confirming that our federal taxes had been efiled. Except that we haven’t filed yet and his phone number isn’t associated with our taxact account. I logged in and it says ours is still in work, so that’s correct. And I sent a message to TaxAct asking what might be going on. It could be identity theft, or it could be someone put in their text number incorrectly. We shall see.

Supper was yum - soup and slightly burnt crescent rolls. My new toaster oven is way more efficient than the old one - I need to relearn countertop baking! First world problems… :stuck_out_tongue:

BOBBIO! Put yer pants back on!

swampy, the Pubic Sto’ bakery any place that I’ve lived has tended to be better than any of the other grocery store ones and some of the stand alone bakeries.

I spent half the day with the noob today. He seems to be picking things up. I’ll have him for a couple of hours tomorrow too. Tonight is just supper cleanup and chilling in the studio.

The Gnome is back in town.

Zelda Dog is back in town.

Zelda Dog got old. :frowning:

She hasn’t seen me in eight years but she still remembers me.

Home from soup 'n sammich over to the church house. I had some really good chikin noodle soup and bean soup as well as a good pimento cheese and a good peanut butter 'n honey sammich. A good time was had by all.

Gonna be cold tonight as in below freezin’. BRRRRR! flytrap there’s a little concern about a late freeze and the peach trees as well, even though peaches need some freezin’ weather.

Shortly we shall be abed.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

My favorite Ray Stevens will always be

But -- other than the Electric Amish and Tom Lehrer, my alltime favorite comedy song is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YliBqsV3YMc

Work had more action today and predictions are tomorrow we’re going to get flooded. I smell some overtime/extra-time in my near future.
