A little sexist, but kind of fun ...

Well lets see, since I really didn’t know all of them I went all by pictures unless I really knew them.

The final four were

Kate Beckinsale
Shannon Elizabeth
Gabriella Reece
Jennifer Connelly

Then it went on to Beckinsale and Connelly with Connelly winning. But damn if Sela Ward didn’t come close even if she is almost my mothers age that picture REALLY did it for me.

The tightest race was Reece and Klum, and I didn’t know Klum was only a few weeks older than me, I like older women!

It was a tight race, but Kirsten Dunst wins by a nose. Or some other protruding bodily part.*

However, I hadn’t realized that the names were links to pictures. Had I seen that picture of Jennifer Connelly, she probably would’ve swept the contest. Oh. My. God.

[sub]*Note: I can’t believe I actually insinuated that, either.[/sub]

There was laughter, tears, and a few broken hearts, alright, all mine. How can won feel good deciding between Catherine Zeta Jones and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the first round :frowning: ? In the end, Buffy trumiphed, but that would not be the last of the difficult decisions.

My final four were Leah Remini, Beyonce Knowles, Kristen Dunst, and Katie Holmes. That last pairing tore me to shreds. Its a little battle I like to call Blonds v. Brunettes.

Katie Holmes is the girl next door. She’s tall, she’s witty. She’s a brunette, not as good as a redhead, but acceptable. Then there’s Kristen. Bubbly, energetic, blond. Katie’s total opposite. In the end Kristen’s energy pushed her over the top despite my pro-brunette bias.

In my East Coast/ West Coast final Leah easily crushed Kristen. Leah isn’t the girl next door. She’s the MILTF next door, plus that accent, forget about it.

(Note: If the mother from “Grounded for Life” was in this she would win it all, easy.)

The things I do to avoid homework…

Well, apparently I’m a little odd here… Right now it’s going to be who I find the least unattractive that’s going to win…

Dude… DUDE… she’s on LABRYNTH… I looked at the picture, and thanks a lot… I still know her from when she was like 15!

Geesh, the pairings were ridiculous.

I mean, for example, take the Region III Sweet Sixteen matchups. I have to choose between Ashley Judd and Charlize Theron (who would make a fine pair in the finals), while just below them we have Courtney Cox vs Jules Asner?

I’m pretty surprised that anyone managed to have a different Region I winner than Anna Kournikova, she basically got a free ride there.

I think there’s some sort of conspiracy afoot in the Mueller – the 8th seeds seem ridiculously strong. Kournikova, Carmen Electra, Ashley Judd, and Britney… I’d say, as a group, those four are stronger than Silverstone, Knowles, Milano, and Harmon.

My finalists: Kournikova v. Knowles, Theron (qualifying for the Eight in a squeaker over Judd, before taking Asner to school) v. Graham (challenged only in the round of 32 by J-Lo).
Knowles v. Graham to win it all, and Roller Girl takes it away.

How the hell did Ernest Borgnine get in there, and how the hell did he make my final four?

Eerie.

My final four were: Faith Hill, Carmen Electra, Shania Twain, and Cindy Crawford.

Shannon Elizabeth went all the way in this tournament.

On a side note, poor Jessica Simpson and Pink both went down quick in the first round like your mom after two LITs. Sucks to be a pop-star in that bracket. And in what all my friends are calling a major upset victory, in what I thought was a closely contested match, Sandra Bullock took down Charisma Carpenter in the first round.

And whose idea was it to pair up Denise Richards and Alyssa Milano? ((Oh yeah… mine.))… What an unfair choice there. Close game, but Denise won in the 2OT.

Dude. Tyra Banks!

Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing particularly wrong with miss Kournikova. But I mean… Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks… maybe. To me she’s been looking a little, shall we say… underfed lately. And the fact that she’s with Chris Webber is a real black mark on her record. Seems like anyone who’s seen Enrique Iglesias’ video for Escape is gonna have a hard time thinking about anything but Anna Kournikova.

Hey, by the way Coldfire, hope this thread is more appealing reading for you than that pimple-popping disaster area.

My final four: Kournikova, Hurley, Cox and Graham. I had to make some decisions based on pictures I’d seen elsewhere, or Elizabeth Hurley would not have made it out of round one. Cindy Crawford made it to the Elite Eight, which was a bit of a surprise, as she’s been off the radar a while. Anyway,

Anna took down Elizabeth. And Courtney Cox downed Heather Graham. In a mild upset, Courtney Cox won it all, because I’ve lusted after her for many a year.

Final Four
Racheal Cook
Halle Barry
Kirsten Dunst
Tia Carrere

Finals
Halle Barry
Kirsten Dunst

Winner
Kirsten Dunst

First of all, don’t fawn all over me too much for the link – it was Critical 1 who posted it in the Pit. I just thought it deserved its own thread.

Second of all – what can I say, deep down I’m a sensitive, bleeding heart, feminist, and ranking women against each other juedging solely on their looks … I find a little sexy. SEXIST. I mean sexist.

Third of all – I’m such an idiot. When I ran through my choices last night, I was going solely on memory (I didn’t even think to click on the names to see pictures [Pictures? There’s pictures of all these gorgeious women?!?]) So there were some names I didn’t recognize, so they didn’t even make the first cut.

I think I’ll have to re-evaluate my choices after I clean up all this tissue paper. REVIEW THE PICTURES! I mean after I review the pictures.

Great minds…

I just reviewed Kristen Dunst’s info and realized that she is from my state. That makes the decision even harder. I love NJ and relish any chance to show up NY. Still, I have a thing for accents so Leah still wins, just not as decisively as before.

Jersey girls still rule!

As I thought, upon further review of the pictures, we have a new final four and a new winner, not to mention a few new callouses.
Final 4:

Region 1 - Anna Kournikova (over Rachel Leigh Cook)

Region 2 - Estella Warren (over Jessica Biel [I didn’t even know who either of them were]).

Region 3 - Tara Reid (over Jessica Alba [that was a hard one -heh])

Region 4 - Jennifer Connelly (over Brittney Spears [who still can’t sing]).
Anna over Estella. Jennifer over Tara.

And the grand champion – Anna Kournholikova - yum.

[sub]I suppose now, I’ll have to hand in my official Phil Donahue Femist Badge and Decoder Ring. Oh the shame.[/sub]

A female perspective:

Final Four -

Anna Kournikova
Halle Berry
Ashley Judd
Jennifer Connelly
Cripes, at one point I had to pick between Charlize Thieron and Ashley Judd. Hey, I’m not gay, but CHRIST! Can’t I have 'em both???

Anyway, I narrowed it down to Anna and Ashley, and had to finally pick Ashley. Both beautiful choices, but Ashley Judd just has a certain something about her that pushed her over the top.

Sheesh, I’ve got to find the male version of this. Yummy!

You boys are so cute when you play.

Does anyone really think Tara Reid is hot???

Exactly!
