Ashley Judd won, but that was because she had the best picture. Well, I think it’s the best picture. That soft Marilyn Monroesque shot was just beautiful.
nooooooooo. evil evil evil. Thanks to this stupid game I am now aware that Jessica Alba is engaged. The last of my dreams lies crushed on the shithouse floor.
Anyway.

Heidi Klum takes it in a squeaker. I did this a couple years ago, when I had Liz Hurley taking it all.
My question is, aren’t some of these ladies beyond their sell-by date? Sharon Stone, Demi Moore? Not that they’re not hot, it’s just neither has been in anything in the past 5 years at least! I realize most women would kill to look as good as they do when they hit 40, but up against this kind of competition they shouldn’t have seeds any better than 12.
When I clicked to see the “results” page, I found this interesting: Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie are both on the “Most First Place Finishes” list, but not the “Most Final Four Appearances” list. So this tells me that these two beauties are “love 'em or leave 'em” ladies – that voters either have them going all the way, or not far at all. Do ya’ll think they appeal to certain demographics, to the exclusion of others?
Out of division one, the underdog Remini (isn’t she in some horrible sitcom?) got farther than expected, but met her match in the form of Jolie. In the top half Kournikova takes it in straight sets, but it is Angelina Jolie moving to the quarters.
Division two had a startling mixture of has-beens and who’s-that’s. Kate Hudson takes it with relative ease.
Whoever seeded division three should be poked in the eye with a Popsicle. Hayek falls in the first round to beauty Theron, who in turn departs early at the hands of Twain. Elsewhare Richards just edges Alba, but it is Ashley Judd who wins the day.
In division four, Connelly leaves earlier than expected after an unfortunate pairing with Graham. In a close bout with Carrare, Heather Graham claims the division.
In the top half of the final four, the crowd must have been in the mood for cuteness over raw sex appeal, as Hudson takes it in a split decision. Similarly in the bottom half, demure and wholesome held rare sway over classic beauty, and Judd continues her streak. Ultimately, the winner is Ashly Judd.
There. The pictures didn’t do anything to affect my decision except to reinforce my long standing belief that Salma Hayek is one of the most beautiful women to walk the face of this earth. When I saw her name on the list I knew what the outcome would be.
In reviewing my other picks I see that most of the preliminary winners were brunettes and with the exception of Kate Hudson (why do I find her attractive) were 30 or older.
It’s too bad Shania had to go head to head with Salma in the first round or Ms. Twain would have likely made it right into the finals.
