Funny --------- you don’t look Lutheran.
:eek:Move over!
Our spice rack takes up one whole shelf in an upper cabinet.
It is organized according to however we can get everything in there.
I made a terrible mistake today. I stopped to get a new bag of dog food and they had two little mini-schnauzer puppies in the sale area.
I went over to give them scritches.
Now my heart is broken.
I have most of a loaf of rye bread in the freezer. And some really good corned beef.
And sauerkraut. And thousand island dressing. Hmmmmm.
BTW, bacon cooks real well in the oven.
It must be lunch time somewhere.
Later.
Random streams of thoughts, or are those two things related?
Home. Brain fried. That’s all…
Worked, came home. Half the snow is gone. Making dinner, then trivia at the VFW.
Y’all have issues.

We supped upon grilled chikin, baked sweet N.O.T. and green beans with almonds and pimento. ‘Twas nummy if’n I do say so myself. Now we’re chillin’. I feel tahrd and sleepy.
Don’t post that on Shabbat, you dummy!
Nut We talked once about starlings. I saw this and thought of you.
Salsa’s fed us. I’m still beat, but I didn’t have to do dishes, so there’s that. Time to assume the crochet position and chill till my eyes won’t stay open. That may be fairly soon - seein’s as how I woke around 3:30 and didn’t fall back to sleep.
Still no chocolate cake in the house, alas…
Just before this cold weather began, I saw thousands of birds fleeing or arriving in such numbers. A flock of that density took five minutes to pass while I made coffee at work one morning.
Everything in my head is a random stream of thoughts.
First NatGeo, now HuffingtonPost.
My little town is getting popular.
We had an ambulance out front today but I’m not sure who it was for. I hope is isn’t the neighbor I like, although I expect if it was her we would have heard the comings and goings, since we share a porch and our front doors are next to each other.
The cat is still being a brat, we let him out yesterday, and I let him out again this morning.
I’d rather he didn’t go out but it seems to calm him down a bit.
My son is upsetting me a bit, we need to have a talk and anytime I say anything he says I KNOW I KNOW
He graduates this semester, and I need to fill out the FAFSA stuff for fall. I need an idea of what he is going to do.
He needs to meet with a couselor about transferring credits, and decide where he wants to transfer to. If he still can, because applications to U of M had to be in last November to start this fall.
I’m getting grumpy about all this.
My spices are arranged on one of those stairstep thingies (well, most of them anyway). Chile spices and stuff for Indian cooking in the back, seeds and middle eastern spices on the next level , herbs on the bottom, odds and ends on the second level. Sweet spices are on a small traditional rack on the wall and salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders on the stove. Overflow is in the cupboard and on teh baker’s rack. I’m making up for metal mouse’s lack. I’ll bring the smelling salts doggio.
I’m working on a loaf of marble rye right now. Last evening, I made some homemade tomato basil soup and grilled some muenster on marble rye. Twas good. Tonight was a Fat Mo burger deluxe.
I just now got a Facebook message from the Flat Earth Society(NOT A JOKE):
This makes me feel better about myself, just generally.
I am on an endless quest for the perfect spice organization system. I’ve tried various carousels and racks. Nothing ever seems to satisfy. (They won’t all fit inside my snout.)
You made that up, dammit!
We et. Filet mignon, boiled taters due to time constraints, spareguts and fried aigs. Was yummy.
Here’s hoping I don’t awake at 0400 like last night. I have a crap ton of housework to do this weekend and my car is so dirty I am ashamed. I may just pay the neighbor boy to clean it. We are supposed to warm back up to the low 70’s which is perfect.
If it warms we are going out to eat on Sunday in KW at a great place on the beach. There is a band I really love. It’s Billy the Squid and the Seacow Drifters. They play 50’s music and cover stuff like Rawhide theme. Surfer/ rockabilly is the genre.
I think I’m back! Seems my “computer problem” was really a dying mouse.
We all hate you.
You are not attractive.
Your female parent dresses you in an unusual manner.
We will steal your lunch money tomorrow.
Red, I googled Fat Mo, because, burgers and it is definitely a reason to visit Nashville. But the menu on the web lists "Fat Mo’s Super Deluxe burger at “over 16oz.” That is pretty big, even for me.
And that’s all for this evening.
