Francesca, you might be unaware that Ender and I have done a thread or two together in the past. However, I’m sure you are aware of what you can do with your catty attitude. We won’t even go into your rotten phrasing.

I rather enjoy and admire Ender’s humorous style, hence the “dearie.” It is also well known that he and Jack Batty are the two biggest and self-proclaimed attention whores at these boards. I personally think that a cage match involving the two of them would be downright hilarious.
Anything beyond that is merely some weird ass innuendo you’ve taken upon yourself to superimpose in this thread.
a) “attention whore” is not really a positive term.
b) I would certainly not pick out Ender and Jack Batty as the two foremost attention whores of the board.
c) Due to those facts, and the fact that you have had conflicts with JB in the past, I was led to believe your comment was intended to be nasty.
If this was a simple miscommunication, why didn’t you explain that to Fran in the beginning instead of being snarky?
I think Zenster could be referring to the thread started by Endrew called (appropriately enough) I am an attention whore.
Which, I think, is in th same spirit as this OP…
Zenster I strongly advise you to never to call me “dearie” when openly suggesting that I’m the sort of person who engages in this whoring activity. Substituting the suggestion of a cage match for what was just a simple thread represents an attempt to do serious harm to another person.
Reposting Francesca’s words utterly changes the meaning and intent of my gist and is a sure way to get reported to the moderators. While you did attribute the quote to Francesca, you placed it in the context of a quote and utilized the exact same format of the excerpt from her own post! This represents a grievous insult to me and I take extreme umbrage at your actions.
I urge you to again post both her own quote and yours in this thread once more with complete clarification as to your responsibility for this plus a full and sincere apology. Your doing so is the only possible way to ameliorate this situation. If you are unable to do this right away, I will not urge the moderators to relent in any way relating to this offense.
One more time, Zenster, you can clearly see the after effects of what you have done. You are now on notice to post your clarification and sincere apology immediately.
What I will tell you Ender is this; I have never meant you any sort of insult in any way ever, at these boards. I cannot believe that you would think otherwise. I’m not going to exacerbate the situation by going into further detail about this. Please feel free to post whatever material I have ever written at these boards that demonstrates an attempt to show disrespect towards you in any way.

Regardless of what you intended it to mean, my reaction of reading it was something akin to, “Wow. Where did that come from?”
So, funny enough, Fran’s next post (in its entirety) was: “Where did that come from Zenster?” (i.e. echoing my reaction completely). “Did the fact that the OP was ironic over your head, dearie?” (echoing your phrasing and, not surprisingly, being a little - and only a very little - sarcastic)
Then you go off the deep end and start becoming downright offensive.
