I have taken the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow. flytrap the county takes it as a holiday but trash pick up will happen since the county contracts with a service to pick up trash and apparently the service does not have MLK Day as a holiday.

Well, it’s a 3 day weekend for the kids, which means I get to sleep in. Go MLK! I have to say it was a shock learning later in life that he wasn’t a saint in his personal life. People are such complex beings. I just try to focus on the good he did.

I believe that my 17 year old joint replacement is failing. I’ve been very uncomfortable for a week, hurt like hell Monday, and am uncomfortable today. I have an appointment with my “Primary Care Physician” Wednesday.
